The group I.O.I is discussing a reunion to mark their 10th anniversary.

A representative from one of I.O.I's member agencies told OSEN on the 15th, "Nothing has been confirmed yet," adding, "We think it would be nice for the members to work together on a project for a new song to celebrate the 10th anniversary, and this is currently being reviewed internally."

Earlier that day, a media outlet reported that I.O.I is planning to release a new song next year for their 10th anniversary.

According to the report, the members first came together to discuss the idea, communicated it to their respective agencies, and recently began discussions. It is said that representatives from the agencies gathered to coordinate their opinions.

I.O.I is a project girl group formed through the Mnet program 'Produce 101' Season 1, which aired in 2016, and received tremendous love with songs like 'Dream Girls,' 'Whatta Man,' 'So So So,' and 'Rain Shower' during their official activity period. They disbanded after their final concert in January 2017 and have since been active as solo artists and actors.
