NewJeans member Haerin sent a message to fans in celebration of her birthday.
On the 15th, Haerin wrote on her social media, "The letters from Bunnies were really crazy. I was genuinely surprised," adding, "To capture my surprise, emotion, affection, and gratitude, I had no choice but to do it this way."
She explained, "As Bunnies would empathize, there are moments when you wonder how to express this enormous and vague feeling. I am in just such a state right now, and I expressed it without any hesitation. Thank you so much."
She continued, "Writing letters takes a lot of energy, so I'm grateful that you took the time to write them. I'm also thankful for celebrating someone else's birthday in this way, for quietly supporting me during such difficult times for any reason, and for the continuous surprises."
Additionally, Haerin expressed, "Thank you so much for preparing the birthday cafe and electronic display with care. I find today quite amazing myself. I think I can have a pleasant day thanks to Bunnies. Once again, thank you so much."
Meanwhile, earlier, on the 21st of last month, the Seoul Central District Court Civil Agreement Division 50, led by Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon, accepted the injunction request filed by ADOR against the five members of NewJeans for 'maintaining agency status and prohibiting advertising contracts.' According to the court's judgment, activities without prior approval or consent from ADOR, whether independently (including legal representatives) or through third parties, were prohibited, thus making it difficult for the members to use the new name 'NJZ' as well as to engage in independent activities. Subsequently, the NewJeans members submitted an objection to the court's ruling and announced a suspension of their activities. However, on the 16th, the court rejected the injunction request filed by the five NewJeans members, maintaining the ban on independent activities. As a result, the members expressed their determination to continue the legal battle by filing an immediate appeal.
