On the 14th, a video titled "Unboxing the Diamond Button of 10 Million YouTuber IU Official" was released on the YouTube channel "IU Official."
In the video, IU verified the box containing the diamond button and said, "It came faster than I thought," before opening the box containing the diamond button. She continued, "It's really heavy. It says 'IU Official' on the back. It's so shiny," and added, "I will carry this around all the time. Just like a Teletubby."
IU also noted, "This is the diamond button we created together," adding, "I felt amazing when I shot the live video when it counted to 10 million, but now I've become a bit used to it. I'm glad to have witnessed that moment."
On that day, IU revealed that her next goal is to receive the ruby button. The ruby button is an award given to YouTubers with 50 million subscribers. She said, "I thought the diamond button was the end until 5 minutes ago. But when I asked the producer, they said there’s more ahead," and added, "Now that I know the next one is the ruby button, I think I should aim for that."
