The movie 'Salmokji' (working title, provided/distributed by SHOWBOX l produced by The Lamp l directed by Lee Sang-min), which early on generated hot topics by announcing the grants of Kim Hye-yoon and Lee Jong-won, confirmed a fresh casting lineup of seven actors, including Kim Joon-han, Kim Young-sung, Oh Dong-min, Yoon Jae-chan, and Jang Da-a, and began full-scale filming on May 10 (Saturday).

'Salmokji' (working title) is a horror film that depicts an incident in which a filming team venturing into a reservoir to capture a road view update encounters something dark and deep in the water. The film aims to capture the events taking place in the familiar yet unfamiliar setting of a reservoir as a vivid experiential horror on screen, stimulating curiosity.

In addition to the previously announced casting news, Kim Joon-han will take on the role of 'Kyo-sik,' the boss of 'Soo-in' (played by Kim Hye-yoon), which is expected to further enhance the mystery of the narrative. He has previously showcased delicate acting skills in dramas such as 'Good Partner,' 'Hospital Playlist,' the series 'Anna,' and the film 'The Beast That Wants to Grab a Straw,' receiving enthusiastic support from viewers and audiences alike. Attention is focused on what will unfold in the murky, swamp-like reservoir and his performance in the horror genre.

Furthermore, Kim Young-sung and Oh Dong-min join as brothers who run the road view filming company, adding fresh charm. Kim Young-sung, who has delivered impressive performances in dramas including 'Chief of Investigation 1958,' 'The Fiery Priest 2,' and the film 'The Outlaws 2,' will portray the jaded veteran 'Kyoung-tae.' Oh Dong-min plays the role of 'Kyoung-jun,' a producer from the Navy Search and Rescue Team. After showcasing intense duality in works like the film 'Love Law of Big Cities,' the series 'Gyeongseong Creature Season 2,' and the drama 'Doctor Slump,' anticipation builds over how he will draw audiences into the story with his compelling performance.

Finally, Yoon Jae-chan and Jang Da-a will make their screen debut in 'Salmokji' (working title), heightening expectations. Yoon Jae-chan, who has portrayed bright youthful characters in dramas like 'Love Is a One-Lane Bridge,' 'Such an Intimate Betrayer,' and 'Shining Watermelon,' will play 'Seong-bin,' the youngest staff member accompanying 'Soo-in.' Jang Da-a, who surprised audiences with a fresh shock playing a character at the top of a cruel survival ranking war in the series 'Pyramid Game,' will attempt a new transformation as 'Se-jung,' who runs a horror broadcasting channel.

Director Lee Sang-min, having completed a robust casting lineup never seen before, heralds the emergence of a next-generation horror film, stating, 'Meeting excellent actors and staff, every moment feels thrilling and like a dream. I will make a film that provides a new experience, leaving audiences thinking they made the right choice by watching it in theaters.'
