Actress Amber Heard (39) announced the news of her twin birth on Mother's Day, and speculation surrounding the children's father is resurfacing. Among fans, attention is focused on Heard's ex-lover and Tesla CEO Elon Musk as the possible biological father.
Heard revealed on Instagram on May 12 (local time), "This year's Mother's Day will be a day I will never forget," stating, "With the birth of twin daughter Agnes and son Ocean, my long-held dream of family has been realized." He noted, "Despite fertility issues, I built a family my way," although he did not specify the method of childbirth. However, given that he previously had his first daughter, Una Paige (4), via a surrogate, it is presumed that this time was also through surrogacy.
However, Heard did not disclose who the biological father of the twins is. As a result, fans have flooded social media comment sections with questions asking, "Who is the father of the children?" Elon Musk is naturally being mentioned.
Previously, Heard maintained a romantic relationship with Musk from 2016 to 2018 and stored embryos together, with revelations of legal disputes arising during this process. Whitney, Heard's sister, noted in a 2022 court affidavit that "Heard was in a lawsuit regarding the embryos created with Musk. Musk attempted to discard them, but Heard wanted to have a child."
Heard also did not reveal the father during the birth of her first child, Una. However, regarding the decision to have children, she said, "I wanted to build a family my way, with my strength," which sparked various interpretations from the public.
Recently, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that Musk has more children than previously known and has made large financial settlements to some women in exchange for childbirth. Among fans, there is speculation that Heard's children could also be his, considering that "Elon Musk has favored childbirth through in vitro fertilization (IVF) and has openly expressed an obsession with human reproduction."
Heard is currently living a quiet life in Madrid, Spain, with her three children. After leaving the U.S. following the defamation lawsuit against her ex-husband, actor Johnny Depp, she sold her home in California and settled in Spain, expressing satisfaction with a motherhood-centered life, saying, "Now, spending time with my kids instead of a lawyer is a blessing."
Heard and Musk's representatives have not made any official statements regarding the speculation.
