MONSTAX Hyungwon and actor YIDO have returned after completing their defense duties, and attention is growing towards the stars who will be discharged this year.

On the 13th, MONSTAX Hyungwon and YIDO were discharged. Hyungwon completed his 1 year and 6 months of military service at the Capital Mechanized Infantry Division located in Gapyung County, Gyeonggi Province, and YIDO was discharged after serving over 2 years in the Air Force Military Band.

Hyungwon entered the training center on Nov. 14, 2023, and served as an active duty soldier in the Army. Returning to fans just a day before the group's 10th debut anniversary, Hyungwon said, "MONBEBE (official fan club name)! I'm back. I really missed you all. I read many letters you wrote during my military life, and each one gave me great strength, and thanks to you, I was able to be discharged healthily. Thank you so much for always being a source of strength for me and for waiting for me."

YIDO enlisted in the Air Force Military Band in August 2023 and diligently served for over 2 years. During his military service, he filled the gap with four works, including "The Grave" and the "Sweet Home" series, and he also received the Best New Actor award in the film sector at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards.

As two stars that fans have been waiting for reported their discharge on the same day, interest is also focused on those returning after completing military service this year.

The first star to return is Go Woo-rim, who is active as a member of Forestella and the husband of 'Figure Queen' Kim Yuna. Go Woo-rim married 'Figure Queen' Kim Yuna in October 2022. The two met through the All That Skate ice show in 2018 and became a couple after three years of dating. Go Woo-rim enlisted for active duty in November 2023 and is currently serving as a military band member, with a discharge scheduled for May 19.

Following that, BTS members RM and V will be discharged on June 10, and Jungkook and Jimin on June 11. RM and V enlisted in the Chungnam Nonsan training center on Dec. 11, 2023, underwent basic military training, and served each in the Army's 15th Infantry Division Military Band and the Military Police Unit reporting directly to the Army's 2nd Corps in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. After completing basic military training at the 5th Division New Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, Jungkook and Jimin are continuing their service in the same division. The last member of BTS to become a "military veteran," Suga will be discharged on June 21.

Additionally, singer WOODZ (Jo Seung-yeon) will return after completing his defense duties on July 21, EXO's Sehun on September 20, NCT's Taeyong on December 14, and Kim Jae-hwan on December 31, the last day of the year. Actor Song Kang will be discharged on October 1.
