Jeong Jun-sik said he made 'I Am a Firefly' in just 5 minutes.

On the broadcast of SBS 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' on the 12th, Jeong Jun-sik, the original artist of 'I Am a Firefly,' revealed the song's behind-the-scenes.

While preparing to welcome guests, Jeong Jun-sik cooked chicken soup. He surprised everyone by washing whole tangerines and adding them to the chicken soup. Jeong Jun-sik explained, "They say tangerine peels have more vitamins. It smells good," and added, "It tastes like cYangkkung," drawing attention.

As Jeong Jun-sik was making the sauce, he mixed in unusual ingredients. Kim Sook, seeing this, remarked, "The song is unique, and so is the cooking."

On that day, the guest who visited Jeong Jun-sik and Jang Jae-na was singer Hwang Ga-ram. Hwang Ga-ram greeted Jang Jae-na, saying, "Thank you so much. You saved me," causing everyone to burst into laughter.

Hwang Ga-ram said, "I became an honorary citizen of Muju," and added, "It should have been brother Jun-sik first." Jeong Jun-sik said, "There was a guy named Min-cheol. That guy has someone he knows in Muju, and he asked me to write a song like 'Yeosu Night Sea' for the Muju Firefly."

Jeong Jun-sik surprised everyone by saying, "I made it in about 5 to 10 minutes because I was in a hurry."

Jeong Jun-sik said, "I hadn’t heard anything weeks or months after making it. They say the person in charge was transferred to another place," and added, "I was regretful, so I uploaded the song on YouTube. Then it started to grow organically on its own."

So, it was Hwang Ga-ram, not Jeong Jun-sik, who became the honorary citizen of Muju. Jeong Jun-sik said, "I wasn't upset," and noted, "I don’t cry," which made everyone burst into laughter.
