In 'Lovers of Joseon,' Lim Mi-sook and Kim Hak-rae were surprised by their son, who wore an outrageous dating outfit.
In the episode aired on Dec. 12 of TV Chosun's entertainment program 'Lovers of Joseon,' Kim Dong-young, the son of Kim Hak-rae and Lim Mi-sook, completely turned around the atmosphere created by his 'outrageous dating outfit.' The key to this was none other than his second date, comedian and singer Kim Na-hee.
During the broadcast, Kim Hak-rae expressed his earnest wish for his son, born when he was 40, to start a family, prompting Lee Yong-sik to arrange a blind date, initiating Kim Dong-young's dating project.
The problem was Kim Dong-young's fashion sense (?). On the day of the first date, when he appeared in a pearl necklace, a feminine cardigan, and wet-looking '?hair,' Hwang Bo-ra and Kim Ji-min commented, 'Today's look is too moist,' adding, 'It's not a dating look,' while Lim Mi-sook remarked, 'Are you GD? This is a big problem,' and Kim Hak-ra joked, 'I’ll blow up the hair salon that styled that hair.'
However, when it was revealed that the date was an 'entertainer,' the mood shifted again. The panelists expressed concern, saying, 'Shouldn't he change clothes now?' and Lim Mi-sook quickly advised Kim Dong-young, 'Take off the pearl necklace; if someone sees it, you'll look like a thug.' Ultimately, he succeeded in removing one of the two necklaces, but in the end, Kim Dong-young declared, 'The majority approved,' and put the pearl necklace back on.
The second date, who appeared, was Kim Na-hee. Surprisingly, Kim Na-hee instantly complimented Kim Dong-young, saying, 'You have a sense of fashion,' and 'You look great.' The surroundings were collectively astonished, reacting, 'He made the right choice not to change clothes,' and 'The two have such matching tastes.' In particular, the divisive reception of the pearl necklace actually worked as 'a sense of detail,' boosting Kim Dong-young's confidence, and he smiled widely.
The panelists expressed their anticipation for the unexpected chemistry, stating, 'I was worried at first, but it turns out we connect so well.'
