The emerging Asian boy group A:SIDE has taken its first step as a promising candidate to lead the global market.

A:SIDE announced its official debut on the 10th by releasing its debut single 'Fish Sauce.' A:SIDE will build its own identity by modernly reinterpreting the Y2K sensibility and street mood based on the team concept 'Modernize Y2K,' inspired by the A-side of a cassette tape.

A:SIDE, composed of Minlee from Thailand, Winnie who shined on 'Boys Planet,' Ruka from Japan, and U.jay from China, is expected to bring a fresh shock to the Asian popular music market with its unique musical worldview and strong visuals. Through the debut song 'Fish Sauce,' they present the possibility of a new trend called 'New Asia Pop.'

'Fish Sauce' adds modern dance beats to the electronic sounds of the Y2K era, expressing A:SIDE's bold and unique charm with its strong rhythm and witty lyrics. Inspired by 'fish sauce,' a popular condiment in Thailand, the song aims to convey the 'real taste' of everyday life and regional identity, spreading Asian culture to the world through music.

This song, featuring K-POP's professional production team and choreography by popular choreographer YUMEKI, showcases a refined high-teen sensibility. In terms of visuals, it completes the world of 'Fish Sauce' with styling that captures graffiti-inspired hip-hop mood and free-spirited sensibility, consistently implementing the concept in overall artwork and makeup.

This project is recorded as an unprecedented collaboration in which production teams from Korea, Japan, and Thailand stayed together locally in Thailand to jointly work on all processes, including music, choreography, visuals, and music videos. Notably, this large-scale international co-production is the first of its kind in the history of Thai artists, as A:SIDE showcases Asian-level quality right from its debut, raising expectations among domestic and international fans.

The agency Aplan International Group noted, 'A:SIDE will be supported to become a next-generation Asian artist targeting their own individuality and the global market.'
