Kim Hee-won addressed suspicions about being a villain.

On the 12th, a production briefing for the movie 'High Five' (directed by Kang Hyung-cheol, provided/distributed by NEW, produced by Annapurna Pictures) was held at Lotte Cinema, Konkuk University, Seoul. The event was hosted by Park Kyung-rim, with director Kang Hyung-cheol and actors Lee Jae-in, Ahn Jae-hong, Ra Mi-ran, Kim Hee-won, Oh Jung-se, and Park Jin-Young in attendance.

'High Five' is a comic action drama about five individuals who, by chance, gain different superpowers through organ transplants and encounter those seeking their abilities.

On that day, Kim Hee-won, who plays the role of 'Yaksan,' noted, “As soon as I saw the script, I thought, ‘I am finally becoming a superhuman.’ That aspect attracted me the most. Also, the script is unique. It's funny and very fresh.”

He, who plays a character with healing powers, clarified the villain suspicion, saying, “I am not playing a villain these days,” and director Kang also noted, “You can tell just by looking at my face that I am not a villain,” eliciting laughter.

Kim Hee-won continued, “Yaksan is a person who lives a righteous life. He is very kind and diligent,” adding, “I don't think he lacks flexibility in my own way, but he is always honest.”

He also talked about the atmosphere on set, saying, “Because there are many special effects, there are times when we act as if we are looking into thin air. I was the one who matched the gaze of the team leader,” and to that Ahn Jae-hong testified, “Since our work is an action drama built on teamwork, there are many times when we perceive that the ground is shaking at different intensities. In such cases, it can look quite strange, but the senior Hee-won helped unify that kind of progression.”

Then Kim Hee-won added, “The director praised me for doing that part well rather than for my acting,” and director Kang also remarked, “Thanks to my senior, I got to enjoy a sweet deal,” which brought laughter.
