ITZY has confirmed the release of a new album in June and announced the countdown to their comeback.

JYP Entertainment (hereafter JYP) started the comeback promotion on the morning of the 12th by sequentially posting the trailer video and scheduler for ITZY's new album 'Girls Will Be Girls' on official social media channels.

This trailer video, resembling a movie, catches attention by dramatizing the journey of the members to make Ryujin's paused heart race.

Notably, JYP's representative producer Park Jin-Young made a surprise appearance, playing a comical role at the beginning of the video. Following his appearance with a cassette radio in front of the short-haired Ryujin, the trailer showcases the enhanced visuals and acting skills of Yeji, Lia, Chaeryeong, and Yuna, along with their beautiful dance lines, raising expectations for their first comeback in 2025.

The promotional scheduler released alongside it drew attention with promises of rich content. On May 26, the tracklist will be revealed; from the 27th to the 30th, concept photos will be posted; on June 2, an album spoiler will be shared; and teasers and photos for the music video will be showcased on the 4th and 6th. On the release day, June 9, at 5 p.m., a countdown live event will be held to celebrate the comeback with fans.

ITZY will release a new album about eight months after their mini album 'GOLD' in October 2024. With their solid skills and diverse charms captivating fans, attention is focused on the new songs and performances that have established them as the 'K-pop representative performance queens.'

Meanwhile, ITZY's new album 'Girls Will Be Girls' will be officially released on June 9 at 6 p.m.
