Actress Ham Eun-jung conveyed a heartfelt message filled with longing for her mother on Parents' Day.
She shared on her social media on May 11, along with a photo visiting her mother's grave, "I'm sorry for coming a little late. I feel like you're watching over us from the sky, and I'm so grateful and thankful. I really love you so much."
In the photo, Ham Eun-jung quietly expressed her sentiment by bringing coffee, candy, and kimbap, which her mother liked when she was alive, evoking a sense of deep emotion, as she had lost her mother in November last year.
Recently, on the KBS2 program "The Men Who Cook," Ham Eun-jung cautiously shared her own story while empathizing with Kim Sang-hyuk's story about his father. She said, "I also said goodbye to my mother at the end of November last year. When I see adults of the same age, I often think, 'If my mom were alive, she would be this age now,' and I miss her a lot."
When Kim Sang-hyuk expressed concern, saying, "I worry that my story might remind you of sadness for no reason," Ham Eun-jung replied, "I believe that’s part of the healing process. By constantly thinking of and remembering my mom, I feel that itself is healing," offering a calm yet mature comfort.
On Parents' Day, Ham Eun-jung's display of warm love amidst longing left a deep resonance in the hearts of many.
