The former member of the group Rula, broadcaster Lee Sang-min (52), revealed his love story about marrying a wife who is 10 years younger.
On the afternoon of Nov. 11, the SBS entertainment program 'My Little Old Boy' featured the story of Lee Sang-min, who surprised everyone with a sudden announcement of his remarriage. On this day, Lee Sang-min submitted a marriage registration form with Seo Jang-hoon and Kim Jun-ho.
Lee Sang-min surprised everyone by summoning Seo Jang-hoon and Kim Jun-ho to be witnesses to marriage registration, along with the marriage announcement, during the recording of the My Little Old Boy broadcast that was aired this day. His future wife had already prepared the marriage registration form.
Lee Sang-min described his wife as 'a person like an angel sent from heaven,' and introduced her as 10 years younger, a first-time bride, and an ordinary office worker. He shared that during a difficult time this year due to anxiety disorder, he felt comforted by talking to his wife about his worries, which led him to decide to marry after just three months of dating.
To reassure two individuals who were skeptical about Lee Sang-min's marriage, his wife even personally called in. She explained the reason for skipping the wedding by saying, 'I thought the preparation process would be stressful and felt it was unnecessary.' She then expressed affection, stating, '(Lee Sang-min is) a good and warm person.'
In the process, a video letter from Lee Sang-min's mother, created using AI, was revealed to celebrate his marriage. Lee Sang-min commented, 'I met someone who is my mother's style,' adding, 'It’s sad that she cannot see it, but I believe she is watching over us and seeing us live well.'
Meanwhile, the SBS entertainment program My Little Old Boy features a 'parenting diary' device where a mother observes her son's daily life, capturing moments. It airs every Sunday at 8:55 p.m.
