Five years have passed since model-turned-actor Park Ji-hoon died after battling stomach cancer. Many still remember the flower that fell too early.

Park Ji-hoon passed away on May 11, 2020, due to stomach cancer, at the age of 32. His family conveyed news of the funeral through the late actor's social media, expressing, "We are deeply grateful for the warm comfort and encouragement sent despite the spread of COVID-19," and shared the sad news belatedly.

The bereaved family noted, "Thanks to you, I was able to send my brother well to heaven. It was truly a great support not only for me but for our family. I will not forget and will remember him. I hope you continue to thrive. Once again, I express our deep gratitude to those who commemorated the late Park Ji-hoon with us."

At that time, a close acquaintance of the deceased expressed through OSEN, "I visited him recently and met him. It seemed he was mentally prepared as his condition was not good. It’s so unfortunate. He was a friend with a lot of talent as a model. (It's unfortunate)… He had a good nature and great interpersonal relations."

Park Ji-hoon gained recognition for his role as Jeon Du-yeop, a new employee at the publishing house 'Golden Bear' (played by Cho Woo-jin), in the tvN drama 'Chicago Typewriter,' which aired in 2017. He also showcased his fashion sense by working as a fitting model for a well-known shopping mall.
