Chef Yoon Sun-hee, the winner of 'Korean Cuisine Championship 3,' boasted about her tens of millions in sales.

On the broadcast of KBS2's 'The Boss's Ears are Donkey Ears' (hereafter 'The Boss's Ears') on 11th, the scene of Lee Soon-shil visiting Chef Yoon Sun-hee's restaurant was depicted.

Lee Soon-shil, who had visited multiple stores for her fourth attempt after failing three businesses, attracted attention by visiting a cold noodle restaurant. He explained, "I’m here to see how the food is. It is not for spying." It turned out that this place was operated by Chef Yoon Sun-hee, the winner of 'Korean Cuisine Championship 3.'

Yoon Sun-hee told Lee Soon-shil, who wanted to open a cold noodle restaurant, "It's remarkable to hear that you want to open a restaurant again," to which Lee Soon-shil responded, "I've messed up a lot with restaurants. I've eaten like I do with rice soup," and added, "I'm currently preparing food from the five provinces of North Korea." Yoon Sun-hee was surprised and said, "So you plan to serve cuisine from the five provinces of North Korea? That’s a dream only Lee Soon-shil can have," while Lee Soon-shil explained, "I know everywhere else, but I don’t know Hamgyeong cuisine."

Yoon Sun-hee then stated, "I’m from Hamhung," and Lee Soon-shil noted, "We don’t know much about food from up there because North Korea restricts freedom of movement, so we can’t escape from our residences. Therefore, we don't really know what food is consumed and what the culture is. When I heard you serve Pyongyang cold noodles, I was wondering how that would turn out."

Yoon Sun-hee revealed her remarkable background, saying, "I've been running a state-owned restaurant for a long time. The restaurant is 500 pyeong, with 23 employees. I've almost mastered North Korean cuisine." Lee Soon-shil humorously remarked, "No one among North Korean defectors is as famous as I am," and added, "Is it proper for someone from Hamhung to serve Pyongyang cuisine? Hamhung should serve Hamhung cuisine. I've eaten at all state-owned restaurants."

Yoon Sun-hee later served Pyongyang cold noodles and eobokjeongban. He said, "I sold 40 eobokjeongban today." This brought in a revenue of 4 million won from selling 40 pieces priced at 100,000 won each.

Lee Soon-shil then asked, "What is your monthly revenue?" Yoon Sun-hee responded, "It varies by season. In the summer, the soup runs out, and by the time I close at 6 p.m., it's 12 million won. During regular periods, it’s around 7 to 8 million won. In the winter, it’s 3 to 4 million won," which garnered astonishment.

He expressed, "After doing business for 11 years and making money, I bought two stores. I own two sundae guk (blood sausage soup) places," and revealed that he acquired properties worth 6.1 billion won, saying, "One is 170 million won for 35 pyeong, and the other in Songdo is 440 million won for 52 pyeong." Upon hearing this, Kim Sook remarked, "Chef Yoon should come to be the boss," while Lee Soon-shil stated, "I bought something too," adding, "That person can only do that, but I can also make rice cakes and kimchi well."

In addition, Yoon Sun-hee shared, "I wanted to confirm if my weapon can be used. To use my weapon, I need to have different experiences. For two months, I went around 17 franchise locations, gaining experience," explaining her extraordinary efforts. She also mentioned having worked at an obstetrics and gynecology restaurant to study low-sodium diets and obtaining a Korean chef's certificate. While sharing, she disclosed, "While visiting those 17 franchises, I encountered many new learnings I hadn’t realized before."
