On 'Dongchimi,' show host Kang Yeon-hee revealed her relationship with her remarried husband and the ex-wife he lost.
In the MBN entertainment program 'Sokpuli Show Dongchimi' aired on the night of the 10th, Kang Yeon-hee shared an episode on the topic of 'My husband lied to me and went to the grave of his ex-wife.' It turned out he had gone to the cemetery.
Kang Yeon-hee, in her second year of remarriage, stated, 'We are like an aged newlywed,' explaining that she remarried her current husband, who was a friend after her divorce. She noted, 'My husband is not just a friend; he is a true friend,' adding, 'Because we are friends, we communicate a lot and have similar tastes, and we share a calendar.'
She revealed, 'Our schedules all show up there. We know everything without asking. However, I initially overlooked it, but one day, I started to notice something. The memorial date for the ex-wife was written there.' Her remarried husband had indeed remarried after losing his previous spouse.
Kang Yeon-hee confessed, 'My husband lost his first wife, and I divorced and remarried. I wanted to think of it as nothing. It was also a matter of respect for the one who passed first. However, he even remembered the birthdays of the ex-wife's father-in-law and mother-in-law. I thought it was the right thing to do as a person, but sometimes it bothers me.'
She continued, 'One day, I had a busy broadcasting schedule and was tired, but only one show was left. I called him and asked what he was doing, and he said, '(As an employee) I'm on my way home from school.' I suggested we eat something delicious at home, but when I actually got home, it was too quiet. When I called him back, he responded brusquely. Looking at the calendar, I realized the next day was the ex-wife's birthday. He had gone to the cemetery.'
Kang Yeon-hee said, 'My husband didn't originally tell me, but I thought he was frequently going back and forth to the cemetery. Upon reflecting, I think we might have fought for similar reasons before. At that time, I told him if you're not going to say anything, then don't show any signs and don't get caught.' When she asked whether he had gone to the cemetery, he retorted, 'Why do you ask when you already know?'
He added, 'I told him it doesn't matter if he goes a million times or ten million times, just tell me before you go. After that, we decided not to share the calendar anymore. Although it wasn't a lie, I felt a similar sentiment.'
