The husband Koo Jun-yeob and sister Seo Hee-je of the late Seo Hee-won are still living in deep sorrow, which touches the hearts of many.
Taiwanese media ETtoday recently revealed the contents of a phone call with the late Seo Hee-won's mother through an interview with singer and actress Bai Bingbing. Bai Bingbing reported, “When I asked Seo Hee-won's mother if Koo Jun-yeob was okay, she said she is heartbroken because he visits Jinbo Mountain (the cemetery where Seo Hee-won is buried) every day.” She added, “Both Koo Jun-yeob and Seo Hee-je are still in a state of deep sorrow.”
In fact, Koo Jun-yeob has not revealed himself to the outside world and has ceased all activities since his wife's death, and it is reported that he has recently lost nearly 7 kg. He is said to stay up all night in tears, continuing a deep mourning for the deceased. Currently, he remains in Taiwan with a close friend and has begun work on a memorial statue for the late Seo Hee-won, stating he will not return to Korea until the statue is completed.
In the meantime, Seo Hee-je, Seo Hee-won’s sister and a Taiwanese actress, left a long letter filled with affectionate thoughts for her sister, adding a touch of poignancy. Recently, he posted a nostalgic message on his social media with the hashtag “#The sister who had the greatest impact on me #The figure of the sister I miss the most.”
Seo Hee-je recalled, “My sister was always on my side. Whenever something significant happened in my life, I would always tell her first,” and added, “She acted strong, but she was more delicate and warmer than anyone.” He also expressed, “I still want to be embraced in her arms,” saying, “Mom misses her so much. If I don't take good care of myself, I feel like my sister would scold me, saying, ‘How old are you that you can’t take care of your mom yet?'” conveying a heartfelt family love.
Fans who heard the stories of the two expressed, “It hurts so much,” “I can feel Koo Jun-yeob's sorrow,” and “Seo Hee-je's words bring me to tears,” sending messages of comfort and encouragement.
Meanwhile, the late Seo Hee-won passed away in February during a trip to Japan due to sudden pneumonia caused by influenza. Koo Jun-yeob and the bereaved family completed part of the funeral procedures in Japan before returning to Taiwan with the remains, where the deceased was laid to rest at Jinbaosan.
The sense of loss for those who have bid farewell to their loved ones is still ongoing. However, their efforts to comfort each other and slowly overcome their grief resonate deeply with many.
