YG announced that Baby Monster's Rami will not participate in the Asia tour.
On the afternoon of the 9th, YG Entertainment stated, "Baby Monster member Rami will not be able to attend the Asia tour schedule from the performance in Singapore on May 17 due to health reasons, which runs until the end of June."
It continued, "Rami has been continuing activities under consistent treatment and care because she wants to repay the love of her fans despite ongoing health issues since her debut. However, there has been little improvement in her symptoms, and recently, there was a recommendation from medical professionals that she needs absolute rest and temporary cessation of all activities." It added, "Regardless of the medical advice, it is natural to prioritize the health of the artist, so we ask for your understanding regarding Rami's absence from the Asia tour schedule."
Additionally, YG stated, "The members, who want to successfully wrap up their meetings with fans in Asia despite unexpected situations, are sweating more than ever with the determination to enhance the quality of their stage, reconstructed as a six-member version, and the newly added cover songs." It added, "Please give your support to the six members who are doing their best to fill Rami's absence."
Meanwhile, according to the performance results announced on the same day by YG, the consolidated operating profit for the first quarter was 9.525 billion won. Revenue increased by 14.7% to 100.2 billion won, surpassing market expectations.
