Actor Kim Seon-ho conveyed warm wishes on his birthday.

The Korea Red Cross (Chairman Kim Cheol-soo) announced that actor Kim Seon-ho donated 50 million won to prepare youth for independence (youth who have aged out of care) on the occasion of his birthday, May 8.

Kim Seon-ho's birthday, May 8, is 'World Red Cross Day.' This donation, made on a meaningful day that reflects the values of humanitarianism, holds even more special significance.

Kim Seon-ho has continued various donations for social minorities, such as supporting treatment costs for children with leukemia in 2021 and supporting youth preparing for independence in 2023 and 2024. Earlier this year, he also donated 50 million won for recovery efforts from wildfires in the Yeongnam region.

In particular, the support for youth preparing for independence was decided through fan voting, making the donation more meaningful with the participation and empathy of fans. The annual donation activity with fans has established itself as a campaign that goes beyond simple good deeds to deliver messages of support.

Kim Seon-ho stated, "Thanks to the fan club 'Seonhohada' that has always been with me, I have been able to continue donating consistently. I hope this will be a practical help for the youth preparing for independence."

Chairman Kim Cheol-soo of the Korea Red Cross expressed gratitude, saying, "The warm heart that actor Kim Seon-ho and fans have conveyed is a great support for the youth's journey to independence. We will continue to provide support so that we can be a hope for those in need of social protection."

Meanwhile, reports have emerged that Kim Seon-ho's signing bonus after moving to the agency Fantagio is around 2 billion won. In response, the agency stated, "It is difficult to confirm details related to the contract, including the signing bonus. We ask for your understanding."
