Channel S travel entertainment program "Now We're Meeting" has raised excitement levels with the explosive chemistry between travel mates and romantic interests.
The second episode of "Now We're Meeting" (produced by SK Broadband), which was once again ambitiously introduced by the production team that created the new travel bible "You Can Never Go Back" and won the PP cultural arts award at the "2024 Cable TV Broadcasting Awards", aired on 9th (Thursday). The episode featured MC Yoo In-na and special guest Melomance, along with travel mates Kim Kwang-tae from "Transit Love 3" and the spontaneous travel creator "My Name is Yoo Jae-suk" (hereafter Yoo Jae-suk), who embarked on a summer tour in Tamsui, Taiwan, and a summer tour in Merida, Mexico.
In particular, the broadcast depicted Kim Kwang-tae and Sai-sun, both of whom were born in the same year, creating spontaneous romantic interests on the second day of their travel, fulfilling a variety of fantasies about summer tours with romantic interests. Kim Kwang-tae continued his summer tour with Sai-sun, who is his romantic interest, in Tamsui, a nearby city to Taipei.
Notably, Kim Kwang-tae and Sai-sun boasted their closeness after spending a day together in Taipei, bursting with summer dopamine. The two, who are of the same age, showed their familiarity by speaking informally, even sharing a straw from their drinks, which turned the studio upside down. Kim Min-seok said, "What’s going on? Is this allowed nowadays?" casting suspicious eyes on the relationship between Kim Kwang-tae and Sai-sun, while another travel mate, Yoo Jae-suk, confidently remarked, "They should get married," confirming their summer romance and inciting excessive involvement. Kim Kwang-tae took couple photos with Sai-sun at the filming location of the film "Secret: Untold Melody" in Hong Mao Cheng and enjoyed a sweet atmosphere during a bicycle date at a sunset restaurant located in Bali.
Following a date that exuded the emotion of a melodrama, the must-try Taiwanese castella and "agei" food tour in Tamsui piqued appetites. After Kim Kwang-tae expressed, "Next time, I want to go with Sai-sun to the countryside or a natural spot in Taiwan," Kim Min-seok humorously revealed that he hadn’t yet moved on from Kim Kwang-tae and Sai-sun’s summer romance by asking, "A more remote place?"
Following this, spontaneous travel creator Yoo Jae-suk's trip to Merida, Mexico, was revealed. Notably, Yoo Jae-suk gained attention by attempting to create romantic interests with locals, which many dream of. After having learned Spanish through cramming for three months, he showcased impressive social skills, becoming friends just one minute after starting a conversation. Particularly, Yoo Jae-suk caught attention by forming connections with various female friends in Mexico, starting with a female friend who paid his bus fare, then with Julia, who loves K-pop, and finally with Caitlyn, who he toured with during the carnival and cenote tour.
Among them, the connection between Yoo Jae-suk and Caitlyn stood out. After observing Yoo Jae-suk's conversation with Julia, Caitlyn approached him and asked, "Can I ask for your social media ID? Your conversation is so interesting." Coincidentally, after exchanging social media IDs, Yoo Jae-suk and Caitlyn spent time together at the Merida carnival, building special memories. Moreover, the two showcased sweet vibes while touring the hidden gem, Kusama Cenote, known only to locals. Yoo Jae-suk smiled at Caitlyn, who was swimming, saying, "You look like a mermaid," continuing the flirting. They finished the trip with heart-fluttering moments, sitting facing each other, making eye contact with refreshing smiles, followed by a warm hug.
Yoo Jae-suk noted, "When you're traveling, things often don't go as planned. That's why I was able to hang out with Caitlyn, and I think those coincidences make traveling enjoyable."
