On '12 o'clock with Joo Hyun-young,' Lee Je-hoon praised his 'Big Deal' partner Yoo Hae-jin.
On the afternoon of the 9th, Lee Je-hoon, who appeared as a guest on SBS Power FM's '12 o'clock with Joo Hyun-young,' candidly said, "I had been wishing to meet senior Yoo Hae-jin, and this time I finally met him. It was incredibly enjoyable and felt like a dream."
Lee Je-hoon and Yoo Hae-jin appear together in 'Big Deal' (distributed by SHOWBOX, produced by The Lamp), which depicts the story of Jong-rok (played by Yoo Hae-jin), a finance director whose life revolves around a soju company during the 1997 IMF financial crisis, and In-beom (played by Lee Je-hoon), an employee of a global investment company solely pursuing profit, as they confront the fate of Korean soju.
Lee Je-hoon noted, "You can see both the bromance and opposition with Yoo Hae-jin at the same time. Senior Yoo Hae-jin's characters in the work are full of humanity, familiarity, and warmth, and this work is no exception. His struggle to save the company seems to represent the heads of households in Korea. It feels like a father. I think it will resonate greatly with fathers who have established families."
He continued, "I understand that Yoo Hae-jin's screen debut was in 'The Hostage.' There are a lot of characters, but one stood out. It's really wonderful to see him continue to solidify his position in the Korean film industry. Would the film make sense if there were no actor named Yoo Hae-jin in Korea? He's a great actor."
