In 'Shark: The Storm,' Kim Min-seok starts a life-or-death battle.

The production team of the TVING original series 'Shark: The Storm' (written by Min-ji, directed by Kim Geon) revealed stills on the 9th, foreshadowing a storm-like crisis facing Cha Woo-sol (played by Kim Min-seok). What darkness has befallen Cha Woo-sol, who was living a peaceful life, and the dynamic events faced by the Woo-sol family heighten the tension.

'Shark: The Beginning,' released in 2021, is the first original movie from TVING based on a legendary action webtoon that drew attention. It has returned as a six-part series, 'Shark: The Storm,' four years later, generating much anticipation.

'Shark: The Storm' is a real survival action story where ‘Cha Woo-sol’, who is training to become a mixed martial artist after his release, faces off against the villain 'Hyun Woo-yong' (played by Lee Hyun-wook) in a storm-like showdown. Cha Woo-sol, who had to fight to survive, overcomes fear and limitations, growing to face a new 'evil' to protect those precious to him. It is expected that the expanded scale and story will provide a cathartic experience with thrilling action.

The stills released that day captured Cha Woo-sol's daily life before the storm hits. Running towards his new dream of becoming a mixed martial artist, Cha Woo-sol maintains a bright smile even after intense training. Lee Won-joon (played by Bae Myung-jin) and Han Sung-yong (played by Lee Jong-hyun) stand by him, providing solid support. After enduring rough and lonely times driven solely by survival instinct, an ordinary daily life has finally arrived for Cha Woo-sol. There is a warmth different from before among the ‘Woo-sol family’ as they laugh and run together.

But not long after peace, confusion and shock mixed in Cha Woo-sol's eyes as he looked at his phone alongside Lee Won-joon and Jeong Sang-hyeop (played by Park Jin). The smile fades from his face, foretelling the coming storm. The following photographs convey an atmosphere of 'imminent crisis.' The fiery anger in Cha Woo-sol's eyes is sharp and intense.

Cha Woo-sol, placed on a game board with no reason known. Across from him is an unidentified figure leisurely laughing as if this situation is enjoyable, heightening the tension. Curiosity grows about who the newly introduced character is and what their relationship is with Hyun Woo-yong. Cha Woo-sol is set to undergo a transformation in the face of Hyun Woo-yong. Alongside him are Lee Won-joon, Han Sung-yong, Jeong Sang-hyeop, and the newly introduced kickboxing master Lee Yeon-jin (played by Jeong Da-eun), who will show off a girl-crush performance. Expectations rise about how the ‘Woo-sol family’ will confront Hyun Woo-yong.

Ahead of the release of 'Shark: The Storm,' TVING is providing the original movie 'Shark: The Beginning' for free until the 15th. Additionally, it will be specially aired on tvN at 10:50 p.m. on the 11th. 'Shark: The Storm' will be fully released on TVING on the 15th.
