YooA and Arin of the girl group Oh My Girl are leaving WM Entertainment.
WM Entertainment, the agency for Oh My Girl, announced on the 8th, "We recently signed a re-contract with four members: Hyojung, Mimi, Seunghee, and Yubin."
The agency stated, "Hyojung, Mimi, Seunghee, and Yubin have come together to proceed with a re-contract again following the first re-contract in 2022, based on the strong trust built over the past 10 years with us," and "We are very pleased to have signed a re-contract with the Oh My Girl members, who have maintained a special bond over a long time, and we would like to express our gratitude to the members for making this meaningful decision."
However, YooA and Arin have agreed to terminate their exclusive contracts after in-depth discussions with the agency. The agency added, "Although their personal exclusive contracts have ended, YooA and Arin promised to continue to be together as members of Oh My Girl," and "We would like to express our gratitude to YooA and Arin, who have been with us for 10 years, and we sincerely support their newly beginning individual activities."
Lastly, they conveyed, "We will spare no effort in providing comprehensive support for both group activities and the individual members who have signed re-contracts to shine even brighter in their pursuits."
Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, Oh My Girl debuted in 2015 with the mini-album [OH MY GIRL], showcasing their unique concept and high-quality music while establishing themselves as a leading K-pop girl group.
