KCM from 'Radio Star' revealed the story behind sharing his daughter for the first time in 12 years.

On the 7th, the MBC entertainment show 'Radio Star' aired a special for Parents' Day featuring Song Il-gook, Oh Min-ae, Jung Si-a, and KCM.

On that day, KCM looked back at his first meeting with his wife. He opened up by saying, "Looking back now, it feels like it was fate. My wife was a friend who worked as a model in Japan. She was born in Korea and later moved to Japan. She kept coming back and forth to settle in Korea and was looking for an agency."

KCM revealed, "She is my friend's cousin. Since I was active in my career, I asked her to introduce me to any good agencies she knew, and that's how we met. We met over a meal, and she was so beautiful that I fell in love at first sight. At that moment, I unconsciously thought, 'I have to marry her.'"

Since that meeting, KCM said he met her a few times through friends, mentioning, "At that time, my wife said her ideal type was Kim Jong-kook. That was the highlight. My mother saw me on 'Star Golden Bell' and told me, 'If you're going to marry, you should marry someone as sincere as KCM.' That's when I felt it. 'We were destined to meet.' That was the beginning of our first encounter, and after over 10 years of dating, we got married."

When the MCs asked if he set a wedding date, KCM responded, "I'm currently making plans. I intend to hold the wedding next year, doing it small and inviting close friends."

Meanwhile, KCM recently revealed that he is a father of two daughters. He shared that the reason for making this public was, "If I was going to hold a wedding, I wanted to publicly share my daughters so that it would be more comfortable. In fact, I wasn't hiding it; I would go out in public with my kids. My eldest daughter's friends even came to my concert, and we often went to amusement parks together. Fans knew and kept it a secret for me."

In response to the question, "Weren't you worried about going public?" KCM said, "I think my eldest daughter was more worried than I was. Being a teenager, she was concerned that she might get hurt, but on the contrary, my eldest daughter was worrying about me. She said, 'Dad, I'm okay, so feel free to talk openly.' That made me realize how much she had grown and gave me the courage."

He added, "I had to let everything go. I couldn’t work. Personally, I had all sorts of thoughts. At that time, even if I couldn't work, I felt that I had to provide for my family, even if it meant digging a hole for food."

In particular, KCM garnered attention by sharing his daughter after 12 years. Regarding the reason he hadn't revealed her before, he confessed, "I had my first child when my eldest was in the military. The situation was tough, and I think fundamentally, I lacked the courage. I was in significant debt at that time. Although I was a new parent, I had the red stickers attached to my name."

He continued, "During a difficult time, I relied on someone I trusted, but I was scammed. I encountered a series of strange situations that were so bad, I had foolish thoughts, but I was afraid that if I reported my marriage while unable to work, my personal debt would become family debt."

He reflected, "At that time, I didn’t have the courage to let my child be known to the world. Looking back, I think it was one of the most foolish thoughts. Kim Gook-jin commented, 'Once you reveal it, it’s not a big deal, right?' KCM replied, "Now that I think back, I regret it the most. It really isn’t that separate."
