Jung Si-a, who succeeded in raising her child on 'Radio Star,' boasted about her daughter.

On the 7th, the MBC entertainment program 'Radio Star' featured a Parents' Day special with Song Il-guk, Oh Min-ae, Jung Si-a, and KCM.

That day, when it was mentioned that many articles related to her daughter were published, Jung Si-a said, "Our daughter has entered Yewon School, a prestigious arts school that has produced Cho Sung-jin and Lim Yoon-chan. After she was admitted, there were many articles about Seo-woo. I was just along for the ride."

In particular, Jung Si-a revealed, "Not long ago, I had the opportunity to showcase my work as an artist at the 2025 LA Art Show. I thought I'd give it a try as an experience, so I brought three pieces, and two of them sold. It wasn't a lot of money, but it was enough to cover the one-way ticket to LA from Korea."

Hearing this, Kim Gu-ra expressed admiration, saying, "That's impressive," and added, "When children do well, they look good too." Jung Si-a acknowledged, "I'm grateful to my kids."

Additionally, Jung Si-a noted that she was playing the role of a supportive mother, like Han Seok-bong's mother, which caught attention. She remarked, "All moms who are into art do this. Especially during exam preparations, when they have to study alone in 6th grade, there’s a role for the mother to fulfill. During the peak of exam preparations, I sharpened 100 art pencils every day," and added, "At first, my father (Baek Yoon-sik) also helped. He's meticulous and delicate. I thought a pencil-sharpening artisan had appeared."

She continued, "On exam day, I think about every possible scenario while carrying an art kit. Since she’s a child, I worry about what would happen if she dropped it and it breaks, so I prepared 200 art pencils of various types. Even if she drops one, I wanted to ensure she could save at least one."

Additionally, Jung Si-a said, "I also included tissues, a handkerchief because she might want to let her hair down, and a glucose candy in case of low energy. After all that, my daughter said, 'Mom, just put on a diaper.' So, that’s how I prepared."
