Actress Go Min-si revealed her process of preparing for the project.
On the 8th, a production presentation for the Genie TV original 'Tastefully Yours' took place at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was hosted by Park Kyung-rim, with creator Han Joon-hee, director Park Dan-hee, and actors Kang Ha-neul, Go Min-si, Kim Shin-rok, and Yoo Su-bin in attendance.
The Genie TV original Monday-Tuesday drama 'Tastefully Yours' (planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Shortcake, creator Han Joon-hee, written by Jeong Soo-yoon, directed by Park Dan-hee), set to premiere on May 12 (Monday) at 10 p.m., tells the story of chaebol heir Han Beom-woo (played by Kang Ha-neul), who becomes a 'recipe hunter' by taking over a small restaurant to inherit a food corporation, and Mo Yeon-joo (played by Go Min-si), a chef operating a one-table restaurant without a sign in Jeonju. It’s a war-like kitchen romantic comedy.
On this day, Go Min-si, who returned as a chef from 'Seojin's,' smiled and said, "I definitely think the experience helped."
She added, "If I mostly did dishwashing or chopping in 'Seojin's,' this time I learned knife skills and found it fun. I think it would have been a bit scarier and harder if there hadn't been filming prior to this."
She also explained, "I chose this project because I wanted to film it in a fun and comfortable way, but there was more to do than I expected compared to my past works. I had to learn how to cook basically, so I actually learned from the chefs and practiced cooking before filming. The dialect was the most important part, so I constantly asked and checked. Aside from that, the others filled in my shortcomings."
