Singer Kim Jong-min shared his exciting daily life after marriage on 'Recent Men’s Life: Groom Class.'
On July 7, Channel A's entertainment program 'Recent Men’s Life: Groom Class' featured the appearance of Kim Jong-min at an event with members of the group Koyote. It was his first event after marriage. Kim Jong-min departed with Shin Ji. Since Baek Ga lived far from Gangnam, he was used to setting off alone.
Shin Ji asked, “Have you sorted out the congratulatory money?” It was already the week after the wedding. Kim Jong-min replied, “I’ve only been able to greet half the guests so far. I carry around the guest list and try to greet them whenever I have a moment.” He held up a stack of papers, which proved his popularity with a densely written Excel spreadsheet listing the guests.
Actually, Kim Jong-min’s wedding ceremony, which featured guests like Yoo Jae-suk, Dongbang, Lee Jeok, and Lee Hyori, attracted a lot of attention as it took place in a hotel. Jang Woo-hyuk asked, “I’m curious about the congratulatory money. Is it in the red or the black?” Kim Jong-min candidly replied, “It’s in the red.” This prompted Moon Se-yoon to ask, “So will you be going to events every night?” bringing laughter.
Continuing, Shin Ji recalled, “Didn’t the guests cheer when you appeared? The view count is still at 2.32 million.” She recalled Kim Jong-min's wedding day. Shin Ji noted, “I usually don’t pay much attention to the audience, but that day I really looked.” Kim Jong-min stated, “I tried to capture all those moments in my eyes. Lee Hyori wore a yellow skirt,” but Shin Ji retorted, “Did you see Hyori unnie sitting in the audience, and you saw her skirt?” proving Kim Jong-min’s goofiness.
That day, Kim Jong-min held a surprise party with the Koyote members as a response to their congratulatory messages, including time for reading letters. Various decorations, including a garland that read 'Whether you get married or have children, forever Koyote,' evoked nostalgia with pictures of Koyote.
Baek Ga remarked, “I won’t cry,” while Shin Ji praised, “You’ve become the king of events.” In response, Kim Jong-min proudly said, “I became a master of events after the proposal.”
Kim Jong-min said, “I wrote a response for your congratulatory messages. I gathered a lot of courage.” To this, Shin Ji replied, “Somehow it feels like Baek Ga and I are getting married, and you’re giving a congratulatory speech, right? Didn’t your sister-in-law write that for you?” eliciting laughter. Kim Jong-min stated, “I received the inspection.”
Kim Jong-min expressed, “Among the blessings of many people, seeing the two of you happy made me feel like I was at a party. I was even happier. Although you are younger than me, I learned a lot from you. You were like a guide. I realized, I shouldn’t do this, I shouldn’t do that,” making the two younger siblings react.
Yet, Kim Jong-min said, “Since I got married first, I hope you two also marry soon so we can travel together as couples. It has been over 20 years, and time has passed so quickly. Where can you find such a bond? Even if we are not blood-related, you are my family sent from heaven. I love you,” which touched hearts.
Kim Jong-min also conveyed his deep love for his wife, saying, “I will definitely take responsibility for the dishes and food waste. It’s been my dream since I was young. Let’s not let my wife get her hands wet; that was my dream.”
