Kim Jong-min of Koyote held an event for his fellow Koyote members on 'Current Men's Life: Groom Class.'
In the episode aired on July 7 of Channel A's entertainment show 'Current Men's Life: Groom Class' (hereinafter referred to as 'Groom Class'), Kim Jong-min of Koyote, who has been a newlywed for less than a week, appeared. He finally held his wedding ceremony after steadily announcing his marriage to 11-year-younger Hi-young since last year.
Shin Ji recalled Kim Jong-min's wedding, which had been a hot topic, saying, "Didn’t the guests sing along when you appeared? The view count is 2.32 million." Kim Jong-min said, "I went too fast during the appearance. I was nervous. So it wasn't something I planned out," and he was able to clarify now.
Shin Ji praised Hi-young's boldness, saying, "How could my sister-in-law not be nervous at all? She seemed more composed than you. She faced everyone, made eye contact, and greeted everyone. Plus, she didn’t cry when greeting their parents. Yet she smiled happily while greeting them."
Kim Jong-min said, "Since it's a big event in life, I think I didn’t feel nervous at all. In fact, I felt happiness."
Another point that became a topic was the congratulatory song. Kim Jong-min said, "I really liked the congratulatory song sung by Lee Jeok and Lynn," smiling happily. Shim Jin-hwa said, "I cried when I heard Lee Jeok's 'I'm glad.'" It wasn't just Shim Jin-hwa who cried. Lee Hyori was also shedding tears. Shin Ji noted, "Lee Hyori also cried when Lee Jeok sang the congratulatory song. The lyrics are so beautiful," and continued, "That’s why Yoo Jae-suk felt that way too. Lee Jeok sang better than he did at his own concert."
However, there was a plot twist. His wife, Hi-young, was a huge fan of Dongbang. Shim Jin-hwa shared behind-the-scenes information, saying, "The two members of Dongbang came from Japan that day and went back to Japan afterward. They came on purpose." Kim Jong-min admitted coolly, "When my wife Hi-young saw Dongbang come out and sing the congratulatory song, she suddenly let go of my hand. That moment was really a 100% happy moment."
Then Kim Il-woo consoled him, saying, "Still, it’s those who live together who win," but Shin Ji said, "Even if you sang the congratulatory song in the second part, my sister-in-law didn’t like you as much as she did Dongbang. Of course, that was a surprise for the bride," which made everyone laugh.
Kim Jong-min made a surprise invitation with a garden decorated for Koyote members with garlands and photos. Kim Jong-min said, "I wrote a reply for your congratulatory speech. I gathered a lot of courage," and Shin Ji asked, "It seems like I'm marrying Baekga, and you're giving the congratulatory speech, right? Isn’t that something my sister-in-law wrote?" Kim Jong-min replied, "I received the inspection," saying, "With the blessings of many people, I thought you two were happy. I was even happier. Even though you are younger siblings, I learned a lot. It was like a guide. I realized that I shouldn’t do it like that and shouldn’t do this," as he read the letter.
He continued, "Since I got married first, my dream is for you to hurry and get married so we can travel together as couples later. Time has really passed quickly over the past 20 years. Where else would you find such a bond? Even though we’re not blood relatives, you are my family sent from the heavens. I love you," he said. The others, including Shin Ji, complimented him, saying, "You have become the king of events," and Kim Jong-min proudly smiled, saying, "Since the proposal, I have become a master of events."
