Singer An Som-i, formerly of the group DIA, is suffering from repeated malicious rumors.

On the 7th, An Som-i's agency, Modenberry Korea, announced, "The rumors circulated recently on online communities and social media, including DC Inside, are unfounded and constitute clear defamation and invasion of personality rights." They added, "This rumor is deemed a serious issue that damages the reputation of not only An Som-i individually but also relevant third parties, and we plan to file a lawsuit through our legal representative."

Previously, online rumors spread claiming that An Som-i is the madam of a high-end entertainment establishment called "Ten Pro" and that she provided financial support to a specific male idol member. In response, the agency stated, "These claims are all fabricated falsehoods, and An Som-i has no acquaintance with that idol," adding, "The posts have been deleted, but we have secured numerous captures and reports."

An Som-i had also declared war on rumors back in March. On March 2, during a video uploaded to the Gaseyeon channel titled "[Exclusive Shock] Conflict Between Girl Group DIA Members Over One Man," YouTuber Kim Se-eui made a statement suggesting that An Som-i had previously dated Kim Kwang-soo, the representative of Pocketdol Studio.

At that time, the agency dismissed it, stating, "This is a clear falsehood," and confirmed, "We are preparing legal actions." A representative stated, "Engaging in writing, distributing, and spreading malicious posts against the artist is a clear criminal act, and we will continue to collect evidence related to this and take strong measures, including criminal complaints and civil damages."

Meanwhile, An Som-i is currently managing her schedule normally, and the agency has stated that they will spare no legal or psychological support for all activities.
