Actress Kim Tae-ri won the Best Performance Award at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards.

On the 5th, during the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards, Kim Tae-ri received the honor of winning the Best Performance Award in the institutional sector for women in broadcasting for her role in the tvN drama "Jeongnyeon-i." The Baeksang Arts Awards is a comprehensive arts award established in 1965 to promote the development and morale of Korean popular culture and arts.

Kim Tae-ri created a new life character through the tvN drama "Jeongnyeon-i" last year, garnering praise from both the public and critics. In the drama, she captivated audiences across generations with her perfect performance as "Yoon Jeong-nyeon," a sound prodigy dreaming of becoming a national theater actor, excelling in both acting and sound. Notably, through her work in "Jeongnyeon-i," she achieved meaningful results that positively influenced the domestic cultural and artistic scene, as the female national theater genre was re-highlighted.

As she stepped onto the stage, she said, "It was an honor to be able to act during the most splendid period of women's national theater and to live within it." She added, "I tried not to compromise. Although it wasn't an absolute answer, it was my romance at that time. Considering my shortcomings as romance is a desire to do better next time," she expressed her gratitude, stating, "I will strive to become an actress who can move forward using the desire to do well as motivation without being ashamed of it."

With this, Kim Tae-ri proved her limitless spectrum once again by seizing the trophy three years after winning the Best Performance Award for Women in the tvN drama "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards.

Meanwhile, Kim Tae-ri is scheduled to meet global audiences with the animation film "What This Star Needs," which will be premiered on Netflix on May 30.
