Singer Sung Si-kyung expressed his feelings about attending the Baeksang Arts Awards.

On the 5th, Sung Si-kyung posted a photo and message on his personal SNS, starting with "I was anxious about whether I would receive it." The post contained Sung Si-kyung's impressions of attending as a candidate for the best male entertainer at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards held that day.

He humorously expressed, "It’s like that; award ceremonies make you nervous even when you know it’s not your own like a dream partner World Cup," while also noting, "I thought Baeksang reached out to congratulate me for a performance request, but it turns out I was a nominee for the best entertainer award."

He added, "Thanks to my brother Jaeseok for keeping it entertaining throughout the long time. Congratulations to my fellow nominee Dong-yeob. Wishing all the wonderful artists a great night," which created a warm atmosphere.

During the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards held on the 5th, the Netflix original entertainment program "Culinary Class Wars" won the grand award in the broadcasting category, and cinematographer Hong Kyung-pyo for the movie "Harbin" received the grand award in the film category. The best male entertainer award, for which Sung Si-kyung was nominated, went to broadcaster Shin Dong-yeob.
