A group of six, known as the 'entertainment industry's leading brains' centered around Jun Hyun-moo, will unite for the knowledge quiz show 'Brain Academy.'

Channel A's 'Brain Academy,' which will air for the first time at the end of May, is a knowledge quiz show where Jun Hyun-moo, Ha Suk-jin, Lee Sang-yeob, Yoon So-hee, Hwang Je-seong, and Gweido come together as a team to take on high-end quizzes created by the nation's top scholars, challenging for the 'knowledge medal.' Each week, a master representing a specific field will present high-level graded quizzes, and during this process, the six 'Jun Hyun-moo and Brain Family' members are expected to deliver beneficial laughter with their 'true friendship chemistry.'

Jun Hyun-moo, the leader of the brains, majored in English literature and sociology at Yonsei University and is a 'language brain' proficient in four languages. Actor Ha Suk-jin, who graduated from Hanyang University's mechanical engineering program, is known as a 'model student' and the winner of Netflix's 'Devil's Plan,' making him a 'engineering brain.' Notably, the two previously exhibited fantastic chemistry on 'Brain Sex Age - Problematic Man,' so their upgraded performance upon reuniting for the quiz show will be one of the viewing points of 'Brain Academy.'

Lee Sang-yeob, a graduate of Hanyang University who holds a first-level certificate in Korean history and is known as a 'Korean history expert,' will debut as a 'history brain' aiming for an 'all-kill' in history questions. Yoon So-hee, a special talent in the entertainment industry, is expected to showcase the dignity of a 'gifted brain' as she graduated early from a science high school and majored in biotechnology at KAIST. Hwang Je-seong, who is the only comedian participating, plans to fully demonstrate his abilities as a 'twist brain' from a prestigious academic background, being a high school scholarship class graduate and scoring top grades in the mathematical section of the college entrance exam. Lastly, Gweido is determined to fulfill his role as a 'science brain' worthy of his reputation as the 'NO.1 science communicator' with 1.29 million subscribers. As these individuals with extraordinary 'brain specs' unite, there is already curiosity about how they will collaborate to solve final questions and claim the 'knowledge medal.'

The production team of 'Brain Academy' noted that, 'From Jun Hyun-moo to Gweido, the six renowned 'entertainment industry's leading brains' will unite to create a 'renaissance of quiz shows' that everyone, regardless of age or gender, can enjoy.' They added that 'while solving quizzes posed by the nation's top scholars, viewers will naturally experience 'deep learning.' We hope everyone will keenly follow the launch of 'Brain Academy,' a knowledge quiz show that awakens both the brain and laughter.'
