Actor Ko Chang-seok transformed into a charismatic leader on the deserted island in 'It’s fortunate if you rest well.'

The 47th episode of the MBC entertainment program 'It’s fortunate if you rest well' (directed by Kim Myung-jin, Shin Hyun-bin, Lee Jun-beom, Kim Gi-ho, written by Kwon Jeong-hee, hereinafter 'It’s fortunate') aired on the 5th, depicting the second day of operating a restaurant on a deserted island with actor Jang Hyuk, Ko Chang-seok, and god members Park Jun-hyung and Son Ho-young. According to the ratings survey company Nielsen Korea, the broadcast recorded a viewership rating of 5.1% (nationwide), ranking first among all entertainment programs aired on Monday. The 2049 viewership rating, a key indicator of channel competitiveness and relevance, also recorded the highest figure among Monday entertainment shows.

On that day, Ko Chang-seok took over the leadership from Jang Hyuk, declaring, "The most important virtue of a leader is charisma. I will show the true image of a leader." The first destination for Leader Ko Chang-seok and the workers was the country's largest scale fishing site. A massive 1-ton net, worth about 3 billion won, brought in a huge catch including Daegu, flounder, sweetfish, flatfish, rockfish, and anchovy, as well as the rare and expensive "yellow stingray," bringing great joy to all.

The captain’s freshly prepared meals could not be missed. Dishes like monkfish boiled in water, very young fish, and yellow stingray sashimi were served. The extraordinary food that could only be eaten on board stimulated viewers' appetites. Additionally, chef Jung Ho-young’s braised flounder and mackerel added to the fantastic course, allowing the workers to forget their labor fatigue and enjoy a happy meal.

The workers who returned with the abundant ingredients quickly went out for shellfish gathering. At that moment, Son Ho-young emerged as the "ace of the gathering squad" by catching abalone and sea cucumber one after another, while Park Jun-hyung, another member of god, proved his veteran skills by catching an octopus. In contrast, Ko Chang-seok, despite not having any catch, confidently shouted "the authority of a leader," amusing everyone by eating the insides of the sea cucumber caught by Son Ho-young.

As Jang Hyuk was missing, Ko Chang-seok called out, "Hyuk~!" and personally started searching for him. It turned out that Jang Hyuk, not giving up until the end, had focused on shellfish gathering and ended up far out at sea. After a passionate search, he successfully retrieved abalone and returned triumphantly, receiving applause.

Soon after, guests arrived at the deserted island restaurant, and the workers hurriedly prepared dinner. The first dish prepared by Jung Ho-young was "cream mayo abalone and conch." This dish involved frying abalone and conch and serving it with mayo sauce. To prepare this, Jang Hyuk decided to make the mayo sauce himself. He stirred the whisk diligently like a racing horse sprinting ahead, completing the mayo sauce. The guests reacted explosively to the combination of the crispy fried items and the creamy mayo sauce.

The second dish was "grilled sweetfish." Jung Ho-young made a special sauce to complement the grilled sweetfish using soybean paste. Ko Chang-seok skillfully handled the sweetfish, while Jang Hyuk enthusiastically grilled it in front of the fire. In his fervor to cook the meat, Jang Hyuk even forgot that his backside was facing the camera, prompting Ahn Jung-hwan to laugh and say, "Aren't actors usually mindful of the camera's angles?" The grilled sweetfish, infused with Jang Hyuk's passion, also satisfied the guests with its exceptional flavor.

The final dish was a "soup" containing all the seafood caught that day. Chef Jung Ho-young decided to serve it along with grilled fillets of flatfish. This time, Ko Chang-seok channeled a restaurant owner’s spirit and cried from the spicy smoke while putting his heart into grilling the fillets. The steaming and hearty bowl of soup completed in this manner filled both the guests and the workers satisfactorily. Thanks to Leader Ko Chang-seok, who embodied both charisma and cuteness, everyone had a joyous time.

Meanwhile, the preview shown at the end of the broadcast depicted Lee Young-pyo, who was challenging the leadership, fumbling around, heightening viewers' anticipation.
