Actor Lee Jun-young is continuing his rapid rise with ’Pump Up the Healthy Love' following ‘Weak Hero Class 2.’

Lee Jun-young has dominated the OTT rankings with both ‘Weak Hero Class 2’ and ’Pump Up the Healthy Love,' proving his status as ‘the trendiest of the trends.’

The Netflix series ‘Weak Hero Class 2,’ released on the 25th of last month, follows the story of a model student, Yeon Si-eun (played by Park Ji-hoon), who transfers to Eunjang High School carrying the trauma of having fought against violence for a friend but ultimately failing to protect them. It depicts a brutal survival tale and a brilliant coming-of-age story as she confronts even greater violence to never lose a friend again.

Lee Jun-young plays the role of the free-spirited Geum Sung-jae, who wants to belong nowhere and seeks only fun in ‘Weak Hero Class 2.’ He has once again marked a successful acting transformation with his perfect embodiment of the playful yet cool ‘my way’ character Geum Sung-jae.

‘Weak Hero Class 2’ ranked first in the Netflix global TOP series (non-English) within three days of its release and is maintaining the number one spot in the ‘TOP 10 series in South Korea,’ demonstrating its intense popularity. The new KBS2 drama ’Pump Up the Healthy Love,' which premiered on the 30th of last month, features a passionate gym owner, Do Hyun-joong, who radically corrects the overly anxious lives of his members, called ‘helinies,’ with a comedic romance revolving around intense growth. Lee Jun-young plays the role of the gym owner, Do Hyun-joong, who suddenly takes over a rundown gym after being a world-class bodybuilder.
