Ham Eun-jung witnessed an affair between Park Yun-jae and Lee Ga-ryeong.
On the 6th episode of KBS 2TV's daily drama "The Queen's House" (directed by Hong Seok-goo, Hong Eun-mi, written by Kim Min-joo), which aired on May 5, the intense meeting between Kang Jae-in (played by Ham Eun-jung), Hwang Gi-chan (played by Park Yun-jae), and Kang Se-ri (played by Lee Ga-ryeong) unfolded.
In yesterday's broadcast, Jae-in, Gi-chan, and Se-ri gathered in one place. The latecomer Gi-chan was unable to hide his astonishment upon seeing Se-ri with Jae-in. Unlike the flustered Gi-chan, the calm Se-ri continued a precarious conversation.
Meanwhile, Do Yu-kyung (played by Cha Min-ji) continued to endure harsh treatment from her mother-in-law, Noh Suk-ja (played by Lee Bo-hee), who chastised Yu-kyung for not giving birth to a son, while her husband Hwang Gi-man (played by Kang Sung-min) troubled her with the kidnapping case of his nephew, Hwang Eun-ho (played by Yeo Si-on).
Suspecting her son-in-law's infidelity, Choi Ja-young (played by Lee Sang-sook) asked Gi-chan about his feelings for Jae-in. In response, Gi-chan said, "Jae-in's happiness is my top priority," to which Ja-young firmly warned, "I will never stand by anyone who makes my daughter unhappy."
Jae-in visited the hospital to meet Yu-kyung. After meeting Yu-kyung, she coincidentally performed a good deed for a patient, and Kim Do-yoon (played by Seo Jun-young), who watched this, smiled with satisfaction. Later, Jae-in checked in with Do-yoon, who had saved her son, creating a warm atmosphere.
Additionally, the scene where Se-ri entered the house after being invited by Jae-in's aunt, Kang Mi-ran (played by Kang Kyung-heon), infused tension into the drama. Surprised by Se-ri’s unexpected visit, Jae-in greeted her warmly. However, as Se-ri exchanged pleasantries with Ja-young and recalled past events, she hinted at an unusual connection, piquing curiosity about their story.
Seeing the harmonious family of Jae-in, Se-ri became engulfed with jealousy and pulled Gi-chan aside, revealing her desire by saying, "This room seems like it suits me. I want to live in this house," and soon engaged in affectionate behavior with him. The ongoing physical intimacy between the two, regardless of the location, aroused the anger of the viewers.
At the end of the broadcast, Eun-ho went in search of his father and witnessed Gi-chan with Se-ri. The ending, where Jae-in, who followed Eun-ho into the room, faced the two and appeared puzzled, left viewers' hearts racing. It raised the question of whether Gi-chan and Se-ri would be caught in their affair by Jae-in in the next episode.
