MONSTA X (Shonu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon, IM) will release a digital album to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

The agency Starship Entertainment announced this on the official MONSTA X social media on the 5th, revealing the coming soon image for the digital album 'NOW PROJECT vol.1'.

According to the released image, MONSTA X will announce the digital album 'NOW PROJECT vol.1' on the 14th at 12 p.m., the very day of their 10th anniversary, through various music sites.

The 'NOW' in 'NOW PROJECT vol.1' signifies 'the present' and is a word flipped from 'MON,' part of the group's name, symbolizing the identity and moment that constitutes MONSTA X today. The album will feature a total of 10 songs, including representative title tracks and other songs released between 2021 and 2023, and as MONSTA X reaches its 10th anniversary, they plan to provide a meaningful gift to their fans, known as Monbebe, by completing the music of the period when some members could not participate due to military service with the voices of the remaining six.

This album is not just a commemorative album but the first chapter that reaffirms the time of existence MONSTA X has demonstrated on stage, in music, and with fans, rewritten as 'the present tense.' Through each track, MONSTA X will sing songs that represent that period while conveying emotions and messages that are valid even at this moment, aiming to continue writing the story in present tense without merely repeating the past.

MONSTA X made a sensational debut in the music industry on May 14, 2015, with their first mini-album 'TRESPASS.' They established a unique position in the K-pop scene with powerful choreography and a distinctive concept, earning praise for their 'music only possible by MONSTA X' and solidifying a strong global fandom across both domestic and international audiences.

Additionally, their impressive vocal and rap abilities, coupled with unshakeable live performance skills and seasoned intensity control, earned them the title '믿듣퍼' (a performance artist you can trust and listen to), attracting overwhelming requests from various festivals and performances. Notably, in 2018, they participated in the Jingle Ball tour, organized by the famous U.S. broadcasting company iHeartRadio, which is the largest year-end event in the local market, making them the first K-pop group to do so, continuing to join for three times until 2019 and 2021.

In 2021, starting with leader Shonu, the members, except for the youngest IM, began to enlist in the military sequentially, entering into a significant military hiatus. However, MONSTA X's journey did not stop. The remaining members actively engaged in individual and unit activities, leading to a 'military hiatus fandom phenomenon,' and kept the team's position steady to reunite at any time. Recently, the five members, excluding Hyungwon who is currently serving, presented their own reality content 'Mon Eat Too Go' on the official MONSTA X YouTube channel, further heightening expectations for their complete reunion.

Known for their love for fans, MONSTA X even received the nickname '몬수종엑스' (MONSTA X + Choi Soo-jong). They have consistently expressed their affection toward fans as much as the effort to keep the team together. Shonu, Minhyuk, and IM held a coffee truck event for fans to celebrate the launch of their reality show 'Mon Eat Too Go: The Three Brothers' last December, while Minhyuk, Kihyun, and Jooheon hosted a free fan event after returning from military service to sincerely thank the Monbebe who had waited for them for a long time.

On the 13th, as Hyungwon is set to be discharged from military service, MONSTA X will finally reunite as a complete six-member group. The following day, on the 14th, they are expected to release the digital album 'NOW PROJECT vol.1,' which will serve as a prologue to the larger stories that will unfold to commemorate the 10 years they have walked together.

As the meaningful reunion for both MONSTA X and their fans, known as Monbebe, approaches with the 10th anniversary, fans are focused on what kind of unique charm the music will present with the voices of the six members.

Meanwhile, MONSTA X's digital album 'NOW PROJECT vol.1' will be officially released on the 14th at 12 p.m. through various online music sites.
