“The delicate choreography and performance skills are all top-notch. KATSEYE has opened a new horizon for female idol groups.”

On the 5th, according to HYBE and Geffen Records, various music program production teams echoed this sentiment about the global group KATSEYE, which made its comeback stage in Korea with the new song 'Gnarly.' One broadcasting official noted, "It's regrettable that we couldn't capture this wonderful performance completely on camera."

KATSEYE successfully concluded its activities in Korea. They performed 'Gnarly' on a series of shows from the 1st to the 4th, including Mnet's 'M Countdown,' KBS2's 'Music Bank,' MBC's 'Show! Music Core,' and SBS's 'Inkigayo.'

Although the duration of the activities in Korea was short, it was intense. KATSEYE's unique music and stage presence stood out. The lively expressions of the members, alongside powerful twerking, sophisticated hip movements, and the so-called 'hammer performance' seemed to break stereotypes, creating a highly immersive stage.

The momentum and energy of KATSEYE on stage were overwhelming. In fact, their music program stage videos are being shared across various social media platforms, recording explosive view counts. The 'Gnarly' performance video released on Mnet's digital studio M2 'Studio Dance' on the 2nd already recorded 2.39 million views in just one day and has now surpassed 4.01 million views.

As KATSEYE's performance capabilities spread through word of mouth, the 'Gnarly' soundtrack also began to gain popularity. 'Gnarly' entered the Spotify 'Daily Top Song Global' chart at No. 91 as of May 2. With its bold sound and straightforward message embodied in their unique style, KATSEYE has received much acclaim, raising expectations for a rank increase in the future.

KATSEYE, which heralded the start of a new chapter in its home country of South Korea, is now stepping onto the global stage. They are set to perform at the large-scale music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' in the United States on Aug. 3 and will appear at 'Summer Sonic 2025' in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan, from Aug. 16-17.
