Kim Sung-ryung showed her efforts to overcome spasmodic dysphonia.

On the 3rd, the MBC entertainment program 'Omniscient Interfering View' featured actress Kim Sung-ryung and Kim Seok-hoon.

Kim Sung-ryung headed to meet a vocal trainer for vocal practice. Kim Sung-ryung stated, "I am scared. Psychologically," showing a tense demeanor. She had a dark expression due to continuous pitch errors.

The manager explained, "She has spasmodic dysphonia. It's been quite a while," and Kim Sung-ryung said, "The autonomic nervous system is damaged. For no reason, (the vocal cords) become tense. Even when I am not nervous, I become tense. It has been nearly 20 years."

Kim Sung-ryung stated, "I managed on my own for 10 years, and after 10 years, I learned about the treatment method called vocal cord Botox, so I had it done in my 10th year while continuing my acting career. When I get Botox, I cannot produce a sharp sound. There are times in acting when I need to express anger. At those times, I cannot make a sound. When I get Botox, high notes cannot be reached. It's hard to balance. It has been 10 months since I last got Botox. I am trying to overcome this."

Kim Sung-ryung did not stop and kept practicing, and the manager said, "I was moved" after the successful vocal practice.
