Honey J revealed her complaints about her husband Jeong-dam, and as concerns poured in from those around her, she left a clarification saying, "We have sweet moments and spicy moments too."

On the 2nd, a video titled "Honey J's husband makes his first appearance, from the first meeting to the fights" was uploaded to her YouTube channel.

Jeong-dam said, "But when friends ask you, 'Are you getting married or not?' what do you say?" and noted, "I talk about it realistically. If you want to live freely, don’t get married, but if you want to live happily, then get married." Honey J then asked, "But I tell you to get married, right? Do I tell you not to? Are you regretting it now?" Jeong-dam replied, "But isn't it right for people whose freedom itself is happiness to not get married?" Jeong-dam said, "I don’t regret getting married," but Honey J expressed her disappointment at her husband's answer.

Honey J repeatedly asked, "Then tell me the good points of marriage. Share your thoughts," but Jeong-dam ultimately failed to answer, which frustrated his wife. Honey J asked, "We got married because we love each other. Then isn’t it great that I can pair up and play with the person I love for a lifetime?" and ended up slapping Jeong-dam who could not empathize.

In the video, Honey J and Jeong-dam appeared with their close friend Jeon Seung-hoon, who looked on and asked, "Is it okay for the two of you to talk and then go home?" Jeong-dam replied, "I think it would lead to a fight right away," and Honey J noted, "But that’s true. If there hadn’t been any love in what we talked about, we would have already broken up." Jeong-dam immediately agreed, saying, "That’s a fact," and Honey J added, "If we only dated, we would have broken up."

Earlier, Honey J married the one-year-younger designer Jeong-dam in November 2022, announcing their wedding along with news of her premarital pregnancy. The couple had already conceived before marriage, and Honey J welcomed their first daughter, Love (nickname), in April 2023. Due to the hasty marriage and premarital pregnancy, Honey J also stepped down from the variety show 'I Live Alone,' where she had been hugely popular.

Although Honey J and Jeong-dam married out of love, their conversation seemed to imply that their marriage was due to having a daughter born from a premarital pregnancy.

"If we had only dated, we would have broken up," said Jeong-dam, to which he added, "That’s for sure. We fought a lot when we were dating. We raised our voices a lot." Honey J recalled, "I got so angry during a fight that I just turned around and walked home. But he kept chasing me from behind. I thought he would catch me like in a movie and say, 'I'm sorry, don’t be mad.' But he just kept chasing me. Then he shouted, 'Go slowly.' So I told him to stop following me since I was angry. He followed me all the way home. We made up, but we fought severely at that time. Since then, I don’t think we fought much while dating, but we fought a lot after getting married."

Honey J further confronted her husband Jeong-dam, saying, "You don’t drink with me," and added, "Seung-hoon here is a friend, and I am your wife. Don’t I get to spend time with you? You’re so busy. Once you finish your work, I want to spend the remaining time playing with you. It would be nice to have a date. Plus, I don’t usually drink much. But if I feel like we haven’t been talking lately, I intentionally suggest having a drink. When we drink, we can have sincere conversations and spend that time together. Even though I’m the one who doesn’t drink, if I suggest drinking to you, you absolutely refuse. And being busy is a choice you made, so I’m never part of that choice. Why is that?"

In response, Jeong-dam explained, "It’s not that I can’t keep up with your schedule. I have my own life too. That’s why it doesn’t match." He then joked, "I have to pick up our daughter Love early when I get home today. (laughs) But that’s true. I have always been alone. Since I had to find everything by myself and have been on my own for a long time, I’ve learned to handle everything on my own. If you think about it differently, it’s a strength. I cook for myself, go to the gym, and manage my time on my own. How great is that?"

However, Honey J shared a disappointing incident where her mother commented, "Seeing both of you, is it a solo battle? Why are you eating separately?" Jeong-dam responded, "I’ve never once asked to prepare breakfast for me since we got married. Do you expect that? Do I like it when you do something for me every morning?" Honey J replied, "Even if I prepare it, you won’t eat it. I could make it if I wanted to," and added, "It seems that Dami has many things she feels disappointed about as a partner, while I have many things I feel disappointed about as a woman."

In a situation where celebrity divorces and breakups are frequently heard, some comments crossing the line speculated about the couple's relationship.

In response, Honey J clarified in the pinned comment of the video, "Like other couples, we also have sweet moments and spicy moments. I know best that my husband thinks playing with me is still the most fun. I thought many people would empathize with us showing the reality of being a married couple after previously only showing lovely sides. I just hope you enjoy it."
