Jun Hyun-moo was embroiled in rumors of marriage and now has become the subject of speculation regarding a son.
The show 'Boss's Ear is Donkey's Ear' that aired on the 4th depicted the daily lives of bosses, including anchor Eom Ji-in, Lee Soon-sil, and Chef Jeong Ji-seon.
Anchor Eom Ji-in visited Commissioner Lee Sang-moon in person to help cultivate the discernment of anchor Hong Joo-yeon, who joined KBS1's 'TV Genuine Goods' as a new character 'Genuine Lady.' While enjoying various genuine and luxury items, Eom Ji-in and Hong Joo-yeon showcased their growth by accurately matching the test ceramics presented by Commissioner Lee Sang-moon. Eom Ji-in humorously remarked, 'Who do you think is responsible for all this?' evoking laughter.
Subsequently, Eom Ji-in requested a family heirloom, referring to it as 'a precious treasure.' Regarding a 100-year-old ceramic he was asked about, Commissioner Lee Sang-moon stated, 'There are plenty in Dapsimni. A hundred years isn't that old.' When Eom Ji-in declared, 'It's a family heirloom,' Commissioner Lee Sang-moon cheekily commented, 'Then it’s not a noble family.' The auction estimate was a mere 20,000 to 30,000 won, given that the jar was only suitable for a gochujang (red pepper paste) container.
After meeting with Commissioner Lee Sang-moon, Eom Ji-in returned to KBS and called anchor Kim Jin-woong, stating he would create a character and invited singer Nam Sang-il for a singing lesson. Hong Joo-yeon tried her hand at songs like Lee Eun-mi's 'I Have a Lover' and IU's 'Good Day,' but due to being tone-deaf and having shaky notes, she lost her confidence. In response to the disappointing performance, Park Myung-soo declared, 'At this point, I oppose the wedding in May,' while Jun Hyun-moo shook his head, indicating, 'It’s serious.'
Nam Sang-il evaluated Hong Joo-yeon's singing as 'a complete disaster.' He tried to teach her how to sing well, but he saw more talent in Eom Ji-in than in Hong Joo-yeon. Although Hong Joo-yeon learned the technique of singing with an open mouth, she was unable to execute it properly. As disappointments continued, Park Myung-soo remarked, 'I'm genuinely against the wedding,' while Jun Hyun-moo suggested, 'Not being able to sing is a personal skill,' showing support.
While exploring new stores, Lee Soon-sil, the 'Boss of North Korea,' headed to Dongtan. Setting conditions such as a spacious area, proximity to home, and popularity, Lee Soon-sil expressed firm ambition, saying he would become the 'Cold Noodle Uncle' in Dongtan. Following the guidance of a real estate agent, he went to a pork belly restaurant but was swayed by the owner's statements that all fixtures and equipment would be left behind. Particularly, hearing about a deposit of 100 million won and monthly rent of 4.2 million won with no business rights, Lee Soon-sil's resolve wavered. In contrast, the MCs questioned, 'Wanting to go out to that extent means there are no customers, right?' Jun Hyun-moo advised, 'I think I'll look around the area for about fifteen days. It's risky to just trust what you're told.'
Jeong Ji-seon visited a fire station to film an episode of 'It's Okay to be Uncomfortable,' which is currently airing on KBS. The filming was themed around duct fire incidents, which could occur in kitchens with high oil usage, and Jeong Ji-seon handled the lines and acting. Having previously shown weaknesses in pronunciation and acting, Jeong Ji-seon again made line and pronunciation mistakes. After several NG takes, Jeong Ji-seon prepared a special meal for the firefighters. Now working with a new assistant and the youngest member, Jeong Ji-seon prepared dishes like Hong Soyuk, Yurin Gi, stir-fried spicy shrimp, sous vide eggs, and rice. With each team member assigned to their respective parts, the new youngest staff member, who had relatively less kitchen experience, kept making mistakes. Notably, the youngest couldn't even open the pressure cooker, leaving Jeong Ji-seon flabbergasted and unable to get angry. Jeong Ji-seon conveyed her feelings, saying, 'It was embarrassing since the basics are so lacking.'
The person responsible for making sous vide eggs was a complete mess. They were supposed to make 100 eggs one at a time, but ended up ruining the sous vide eggs by putting in several at once. Unaware of this, Jeong Ji-seon asked for a solution but received no response. She urged accountability and the implementation of solutions. The person responsible, eager to do well, bought eggs but slipped in their haste and broke them, unable to contain their emotions and shedding tears. Jeong Ji-seon reprimanded, 'You must not show emotions,' while advising, 'Since there are few women in the kitchen, you mustn't show weakness.'
About 10 minutes before lunch, the setting was completed after many twists and turns. Jeong Ji-seon personally served the firefighters and fostered communication, while the youngest staff members felt a sense of accomplishment watching the firefighters enjoy their meals. The firefighters seemed touched by the efforts of Jeong Ji-seon and the youngest staff members, completely wiping their trays clean.
