A red light has been turned on for the romance between Go Youn-jung and Jung Jun-won.

In the episode broadcast on the 3rd of the tvN weekend drama 'Resident Playbook' (creator Shin Won-ho, Lee Woo-jung/director Lee Min-soo/script Kim Song-hee/planning CJ ENM Studios/production Egg Is Coming) (hereinafter 'RPL'), sweet moments between Go Youn-jung and Jung Jun-won were revealed.

On this day, after finishing dinner under the leadership of Gu Do-won (played by Jung Jun-won), Oh Yi-young (played by Go Youn-jung) encountered Do-won while on her way home alone and was surprised, asking, "Aren't you supposed to go back to the hospital?"

In response, Do-won said, "I'm going home," and Yi-young remarked, "But why did you go that way? (Maybe) the kids will misunderstand it? They will probably just think we're headed in the same direction. They don't care that much more than you think."

Then Do-won asked, "Who was it that told you not to say anything?" and continued, "But why go this way instead of the main road? It's too dark here, and people don't pass by often. It seems risky to walk alone."

That night, after arriving home, Yi-young was secretly eating marinated crabs when she encountered Do-won. Yi-young asked, "But why aren't you sleeping?" and Do-won replied, "I have a few papers to review," saying, "Stop eating. I'll treat you next time," which surprised her.

Upon hearing this, Yi-young couldn't hide her excitement, saying, "Really? Just me, excluding my sister?" and "How about this Friday?" while Do-won smiled pleasantly and said, "I got it," creating a sweet moment.

However, a red light has been turned on even for the 'mutual romance' between the two. Yi-young, having just finished an emergency surgery with Do-won, actively approached him, asking, "Can you buy me coffee?" While waiting for Do-won, Yi-young got caught in the rain. Then, Han Dong-ho (played by Kim Yi-jun), a third-year anesthesiology resident, appeared behind her, offering her an umbrella.

Dong-ho asked Yi-young, "Aren't you going in since it's raining?" while handing her a health supplement. He continued, "Use this. You can return it later. When you return the umbrella, how about we have a meal together then?" Meanwhile, Do-won's bitter expression while watching from a distance drew attention.

Meanwhile, Pyun Nam-kyung (played by Shin Si A) faced a breakup with her boyfriend after seven years of dating. That day, Nam-kyung visited Ahn Chi-hong (played by Kim Jun-han) to ask about a patient's condition. It turned out that her boyfriend Hong Gi-dong (played by Sung Yoo-bin) was in the emergency room. When Nam-kyung unexpectedly met Gi-dong, she greeted him warmly and offered him comfort, but Gi-dong drew the line, stating, "We broke up."

Gi-dong said, "I knew you were matchmaking while we weren't in contact after arguing, and I knew you were feeling embarrassed as a job seeker, but I just pretended I didn't know. But on the day you suggested breaking up, for the first time, I didn't feel sad but relieved. Yet, I called you again. When my mom collapsed, I felt blank and could only think of you. You're the only doctor I know. Even though I shouldn't have called, I'm sorry. I won't do it again," he apologized.

In response, Nam-kyung suggested, "Call me if you need to come to the hospital again or if anyone is sick or injured. We have seven years. But can’t ask for such a small favor just because we broke up? I’m not asking you to get back together either. I won’t even say let’s be friends. So, call me only when you need me," and sent him off coolly. However, once Gi-dong left, she burst into tears. At that moment, intern Tak Gi-on (played by Cha Gang-yun) appeared, awkwardly trying to comfort her.
