Kim Jun-han will appear at Jongno Yulje Hospital.
Today (3rd), the 7th episode of the tvN weekend drama 'Resident Playbook' (creator Shin Won-ho, Lee Woo-jung / director Lee Min-soo / writer Kim Song-hee / planned by CJ ENM Studios / produced by Egg Is Coming) will feature a special appearance by neurosurgeon Ahn Chi-hong (played by Kim Jun-han), while Pyun Nam-kyung (played by Shin Si A) will also begin a strategy to recruit intern Tak Gi-on (played by Cha Gang-yoon) to the obstetrics and gynecology department.
'Resident Playbook' is a spin-off of the 'Hospital Playlist' series, expanding the world of Yulje Hospital and providing various entertainment for viewers. Notably, Ahn Chi-hong (played by Kim Jun-han), the chief neurosurgeon who previously moved to Jongno Yulje Hospital in the 'Hospital Playlist' series, will make his appearance in the 7th episode, serving as a vital link between the main Yulje hospital and the Jongno Yulje Hospital.
In addition, a joint operation by Pyun Nam-kyung and the faculty to prevent a disastrous harvest of junior residents is also anticipated, raising interest. In the released photos, Pyun Nam-kyung is seen having a one-on-one conversation with intern Tak Gi-on as they work to recruit him to the obstetrics and gynecology department. Given that the obstetrics and gynecology department often suffers from a lack of manpower, if none of the interns apply for obstetrics and gynecology, a challenging second-year experience is expected.
However, Tak Gi-on remains indifferent even to Pyun Nam-kyung's enthusiastic speech, heightening curiosity about his decision. It remains to be seen whether Pyun Nam-kyung can break through Tak Gi-on's strong barriers and succeed in recruiting talent for the obstetrics and gynecology department.
The 7th episode of 'Resident Playbook,' where viewers can encounter familiar faces at Jongno Yulje Hospital, will be broadcast today (3rd) at 9:20 p.m.
