The group ENHYPEN heightened curiosity about the concept of their new release with a gloomy-themed poster.
ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki) released three posters for the mini album ‘DESIRE : UNLEASH’ concept cinema ‘DESIRE Concept Cinema’ at midnight on the 3rd through the team's official social media.
The posters showcased ENHYPEN's mature visuals and sophisticated colors, hinting at “feel-good” content. From the side profiles of Jay and Jake in formal suits to the mysterious ambiance created by the overlapping faces of Heeseung and Ni-ki, as well as Jungwon, Sunghoon, and Sunoo, radiating coolness under intense red hues, each poster drew attention with its distinct personality.
The direction of the ‘DESIRE Concept Cinema’ was handled by director Park Min-soo. He has won awards at numerous film festivals such as the Rome International Short Film Festival, New York International Film Festival, Berlin Indie Film Festival, and Tokyo International Short Film Festival for his short documentary film ‘MERLIN’. It will be interesting to see what synergy emerges from the meeting of director Park Min-soo, known for his unique static and cinematic direction, and ENHYPEN, who have built their own identity with a distinctive narrative.
ENHYPEN has been showcasing concept trailers that visualize the main message of their albums so far. Since their second full-length album ‘ROMANCE : UNTOLD’ last year, they have expanded the scale with concept cinemas, encapsulating ENHYPEN's story more densely, garnering praise as a short film that combines dazzling action, warm emotion, and ENHYPEN's strong visuals.
The main part of the ‘DESIRE Concept Cinema’ will be released on the 12th. A day earlier, on the 11th, there will be a ‘DESIRE Concept Cinema Premier Event’ where fans can experience the video in theaters. This event will also be streamed live on ENHYPEN's official YouTube channel for fans who are unable to attend.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN will release their mini album ‘DESIRE : UNLEASH’ at 1 p.m. on the 5th of next month.
