Singer IU added one more good deed for Children's Day.
The mother of child actor Ahn Tae-rin, who plays the role of young Geum-myung in the Netflix series 'When Life Gives You Tangerines,' shared IU's good deed on social media.
Ahn Tae-rin's mother said, "How broad-minded and thoughtful must one be to do something like this?ㅠㅠ" and stated, "I couldn't believe it; it felt like a story from a fairy tale. Thank you. #Aesoon's mother's secret friend Geum-myung #best Children's Day."
The accompanying photos include IU posing affectionately with Ahn Tae-rin and Ahn Tae-rin holding a gift box that appears to be from IU.
IU's warm heart, caring for a child actor on Children's Day, adds to the warmth of the moment.
This is not the first time IU has been involved in good deeds related to child actors from 'When Life Gives You Tangerines.' As Kim Tae-young, who plays the role of young Aesoon, was nominated for the Rookie Acting Award at the Baeksang Arts Awards, IU reportedly did not spare support for Kim Tae-young, who does not have an agency, by providing assistance with her dress, hair, and makeup.
Additionally, IU gifted a fish-shaped cake truck as a snack support for the last filming location of Shin Chae-rin, who played Geum-myung's childhood.
Meanwhile, IU has met viewers through the Netflix series 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' and will appear in the new MBC weekend drama '21st Century Great Wife.'
