Actor Kim Min-jun boasted about a luxury bag he received from his brother-in-law G-Dragon.
On the 2nd, a video titled "What’s in the Celebrity Bag?" was uploaded on the 'Min-jun's Journey' channel.
That day, when asked about the bag, Kim Min-jun explained, "This bag is one that my brother-in-law cherished. Chrome Hearts. This is called EDC, right? Everyday carry. I tend to wear a somewhat messy style, like Americaji this kind of vibe. It's a bag I’m particularly attached to."
He noted, "I carry things like notebooks. And the most comfortable writing instruments. Even if I don’t use these often, doesn’t it feel good? It feels nice when taking notes and when the pen glides on the paper. When it comes to the EDC for men, it gets my heart racing, like a small knife. These are short blades that don’t require weapons possession permits. The reason I carry these around isn’t for self-defense. It’s dangerous. The reason I use these is that there's a carbide tip on the back that can break tempered glass in one go."
He continued, "For instance, if there’s a fire inside a car or an electric vehicle, when witnessing such a car, it's for breaking windows easily when they don’t shatter. It can also be used to slice through something like a seatbelt in one go. It’s for possible emergencies if something happens in the car," while also joking, "Would I actually use it? It’s just a man’s bravado."
Next, he introduced a self-defense item, stating, "This is just an emergency item. It’s for self-defense. Pepper spray comes out. There’s a slight fluorescent substance that gets on it." Kim Min-jun explained, "If someone attacked me at night and I was too startled, I wouldn’t just carry it thinking I would spray this in their eyes for protection. If I explain it, it's been years—around 10 years—since it’s been out, but because of the fluorescent substance, if you spray it on an opponent, you can identify the perpetrator later when viewed under infrared light. It’s not used as a choking agent. It's a marker. It's not threatening," adding, "Why did I put this in? I think I left it in for describing the EDC. Actually, I don’t use this bag often."
The production team asked, "Do you keep items you like for a long time?" Kim Min-jun replied, "Yes. I sometimes think I should pass this on to my children. I have expensive belts, right? Not totally luxury, but those retro products are expensive. When I buy those, my wife says, 'Honey, isn’t this old? Shouldn’t you throw it away?' I say, 'I’m going to give it to our child.' She responds, 'That’s just your thought. Would the kid like it?' But when I got into vintage items, like a rider jacket that my dad used to wear, I think it truly has value," and added, "My wife doesn’t understand. So I try to hold onto them as much as possible," making everyone laugh.
Meanwhile, Kim Min-jun married Kwon Da-mi, who is known as G-Dragon's real sister and a designer, in 2019 and welcomed their first son in 2022.
