In 'Convenient Restaurant,' actress KiEunSe has shared her honest feelings about the time she decided to retire from acting, expressing gratitude and surprise about being able to work again.
In the episode that aired on the 2nd on KBS2's 'New Release Convenient Restaurant,' KiEunSe had a candid conversation with Jeon InHwa, sharing her life story intertwined with marriage, divorce, and her career comeback.
"In my 20s, I worked hard with the dream of being an actress," KiEunSe recalled, adding, "But there weren’t any works where I was distinctly recognized for my acting." She continued, "After getting married, I completely set aside acting. I had even decided to retire," revealing that she had given up any lingering attachment to acting at that time.
KiEunSe stated, "I never thought I would work again. I focused on living as a wife," adding, "Naturally, I started cooking at that time, and whether it was a talent or not, it became a topic on social media, leading to work opportunities."
She noted, "You never know about people's lives. I'm grateful to be able to work again," and added, "Now, I can express myself with a firmer heart than before, and I am happy about that."
Furthermore, she showed a cautious attitude when asked about remarriage, saying, "I still want to focus more on work," and talked calmly about her second chapter of life with the statement, "Now I want to do well in what I can do in my position."
