The outline of “World of Street Woman Fighter” has emerged.
Mnet’s “World of Street Woman Fighter” (directed by Kwon Young-chan, CP, and Choi Jeong-nam, PD / hereafter referred to as “WSWF”) set the stage for its hype by releasing its main trailer video ahead of its premiere on the 27th (Tuesday).
“WSWF” is the third season of Mnet’s mega hit, “Street Woman Fighter,” and is preparing to meet viewers with a total of five countries in a national competition, including South Korea, New Zealand, the United States, Japan, and Australia. A total of six crews are set to participate, including AG SQUAD, BUMSUP, MOTIV, OSAKA Ojo Gang, RHTokyo, and ROYAL FAMILY.
As fierce competition is anticipated, the main trailer video of “WSWF,” unveiled today (2nd), promises more intense dance battles than ever before. Tension is palpable between two crews from Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, while a rivalry is forming between the original members of the globally renowned dance crew ROYAL FAMILY and its current members, creating a historic dopamine rush.
What was the presence of “Team Korea” BUMSUP like? Honey J, the leader of BUMSUP and winner of “Street Woman Fighter” Season 1, briefly showed confidence but added to the intrigue with tears over an unexpected result. Honey J expressed, “I wanted to prove that I am still capable,” while AiKi noted a disturbing atmosphere, saying, “It feels like we’ve become part of someone else’s playing field.”
The addition of new faces is expected to be another point of interest. Sung Hanbin from ZEROBASEONE has taken on the role of MC, while Park Jin-Young, Aliya Janell, and Mike Song make up the three-person “super luxury” fight judging lineup. The recorded footage featuring the new faces enhances anticipation for the revamped “WSWF.”
In this way, “WSWF” has effectively spiked dopamine levels and heightened expectations, just from the main trailer video. The end of the video also hinted at the appearance of global star Jennie, keeping viewers unable to look away. Curiosity about who will claim the title of the sole world-class dance crew in the upcoming national competition has skyrocketed as the premiere approaches.
Mnet’s “WSWF,” poised to create another syndrome, will premiere on May 27 (Tuesday) at 10 p.m.
