Actor Kim Soo-hyun has reportedly been served with an additional lawsuit worth about 2.8 billion won from an advertiser, while his agency stated, "It has not yet been confirmed."

On the 2nd, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, cautiously stated to OSEN regarding the '28 billion won lawsuit' that "It has not yet been confirmed whether a lawsuit has been filed."

On the same day, a media outlet reported that Company D, which had a modeling contract with Kim Soo-hyun, submitted a complaint to the Seoul Central District Court on the 25th of last month, claiming about 2.8 billion won in damages against Kim Soo-hyun and his agency.

Company D has stated that due to the expanding negative sentiment caused by recent allegations and controversies regarding Kim Soo-hyun's private life, it can no longer maintain the modeling contract and intends to seek compensation for damages resulting from the termination of the modeling contract against Kim Soo-hyun and his agency, who bear culpability.

Earlier, on the 29th, it was reported that Companies A and B, which had contracts with Kim Soo-hyun, filed a lawsuit seeking a total of over 3 billion won in return of modeling fees and damages against Kim Soo-hyun and his agency. Not only them, but Company C is also reviewing the possibility of filing a lawsuit, and it has been suggested that based on known modeling fees, the total amount of the lawsuits could exceed 10 billion won.

At that time, Kim Soo-hyun's agency had remarked, "It has not yet been confirmed whether a lawsuit has been filed." Amidst this, they maintained the same position regarding the additional lawsuit from Company D.

Meanwhile, Kim Soo-hyun became embroiled in allegations of grooming crimes as claims arose in March that he had been in a relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron since she was a minor. The bereaved family of the late Kim Sae-ron claimed through the YouTube channel 'Garosero Research Institute' that she and Kim Soo-hyun had dated for about six years from 2015 to 2021, and that the agency pressured the deceased to repay a debt, while Kim Soo-hyun was also accused of turning a blind eye to this. In response, Kim Soo-hyun's side clarified that he had dated the late Kim Sae-ron only after she became an adult, from 2019 to 2020, and that the written notice was merely left for legal procedures during the process of the agency's handling of the penalty due to her drunk driving accident, asserting that he never pressured her to repay.

He held an emergency press conference on March 31, vehemently denying the allegations against him, and submitted a complaint against the bereaved family of the late Kim Sae-ron and the Garosero Research Institute for defamation under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, claiming damages of 12 billion won. He also filed an additional complaint against the operator of the Garosero Research Institute for violations of the Stalking Punishment Act.

However, despite Kim Soo-hyun's explanation, both domestic and international brands using him as a model have deleted his photos and advertisement videos, and MBC's 'Good Day' also edited out all of Kim Soo-hyun's appearances. Filming of the Disney+ series 'Knock-Off,' which stars Kim Soo-hyun, was halted at the final stage, and the release schedule has also been completely postponed.
