Media personality Lee Sang-min, originally from the group Roola, has completed his marriage registration with his younger wife, becoming a legal couple.
On the 2nd, a spokesperson for Lee Sang-min stated to OSEN, "We registered our marriage on the 30th. We do not plan to hold a wedding."
Previously, on the 30th, news of Lee Sang-min's surprise remarriage was reported, causing astonishment. One media outlet reported that Lee Sang-min would marry his younger non-celebrity partner this summer, and he personally announced the marriage news by posting a handwritten letter on social media.
He said, "I have found someone I love very much. I plan to move forward in life’s second act with her. She is someone who inspires me to want to protect her through any ordeal, and I believe that with her, I can be happy for a lifetime. Given that she is someone I found late, I’ve been too cautious, which has delayed my announcement to those around me. I understand this may come as a surprise, but I would sincerely appreciate it if you could share in my joy and bless us. Moving forward, I will live each moment with a greater sense of responsibility to repay those who continue to support and encourage me."
In particular, it was confirmed that on the 30th, when the marriage news became known, Lee Sang-min had already completed his marriage registration with his younger wife. Although it was initially reported that a wedding was scheduled for early summer, Lee Sang-min's side clarified, "We do not plan to hold a wedding."
Meanwhile, Lee Sang-min married actress and painter Lee Hye-young in 2004 but divorced the following year. After clearing a debt of 6.9 billion won from business failures last year, Lee Sang-min is embarking on a new start with his remarriage after 20 years of divorce. His remarriage story is set to be covered in the program My Little Old Boy airing on the 11th.
