Twice's Jihyo (real name Park Jihyo) has become a property owner worth 4 billion won.

According to the real estate industry on the 2nd, Twice's Jihyo purchased a building located in Seongsu-dong 2-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, for 4 billion won in March of last year. By the end of the same month, the balance was paid, and the transfer of ownership was completed, and it is estimated that the purchase was made entirely in cash as no separate mortgage rights were established.

As a result, Jihyo has become a property owner worth 4 billion won in her 20s. He registered as a housing rental business operator after completing the registration process for private rental dwellings in April of last year. By registering as a housing rental business operator, he can receive tax benefits such as acquisition tax, but he is subject to regulations including a 5% rent increase limit, compliance with the mandatory rental period, and the obligation to obtain guarantee insurance according to the Special Act on Private Rental Dwellings.

The building that Jihyo acquired was completed in June 1986, with a size of 1 basement floor and 3 above-ground floors. It is located within the Seongsu Strategic Maintenance District, a large redevelopment area, and is reportedly assessed as a valuable property with high future value due to its proximity to Seongsu Station. Currently, the first floor is occupied by a real estate agency and restaurants, while the second floor is used as office space and the third floor is used for dwellings.

This building, with a land area of 45.98 pyeong (152㎡) and a total floor area of 99.89 pyeong (330.21㎡), has an approximate land price of 86.99 million won per pyeong. The zoning of this building is classified as a third-class general residential area, and it has been evaluated as having the potential to acquire apartment occupancy rights or significantly increase the building's value through future redevelopment due to its high floor area ratio. It is situated in a core location adjacent to Seongsu Station, and as redevelopment is on the horizon, it is interpreted that Jihyo has made the investment considering future value.

Meanwhile, Twice, to which Jihyo belongs, unexpectedly released the collaboration song 'We Pray (Twice Version)' with Coldplay on the 18th of last month. Following that, Jihyo adorned the opening of Coldplay's concert 'Coldplay [Music of the Spheres World Tour]' held at the Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang City as a special guest and garnered explosive reactions by performing on stage with Coldplay and Eliana.

Additionally, the Netflix global animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' featuring members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung participating in the soundtrack, will be released worldwide in 190 regions on June 20. Twice is expected to continue its global activity by headlining the large music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois, on August 2 (local time).
